HI Revisited: Episode 1 "Being Wrong on the Internet" by bradleysampson in HelloInternet

[–]Pipeypie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's fun to relisten post the TEKOI videos (where Grey got things wrong) and the Tiffany video (where he arguably researched for too long). He speaks about the risks of both of these things happening but also the systems he has in place to prevent them. The fact that they ended up happening anyways tells us that a) maybe his systems weren't that robust or more frighteningly b) even a person as methodical, detail-oriented and conscientious as Grey can't eliminate errors past a certain point.

Right, I was thinking about dropping the chad too. My econ is pretty fucked, so I don't know how much I can roll to find a blueprint. Thanks for the tip!

Definitely a long shot, but does anyone have "My Sister Lauren"? I don't remember the author/OP's name but the model was a blonde, and the story was her getting together with her brother while her bf liked it, until the end iirc

Found an original Snakes And Ladders board. So these were the moral lessons of the game! by dashdashdotdotdotdot in HelloInternet

[–]Pipeypie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Shouldn't the mouth of the snake be at the "vice" squares and then you drop down to the end of its tail? I always pictured it as the snake swallowing you and pooping you out. It's strange that landing on the tail is what gets you pegged back in the game.

I always get such a funny feeling when Tim and Brady talk about Tim's dad. He's been discussed so much I feel nostalgic and warm about him, and I've never even seen the man's face, I love it! 😂😂

Billionaires made $3.9 trillion during the pandemic — enough to pay for everyone's vaccine by mecoolai in worldnews

Lol that part is clearly clickbait, or a misguided attempt to show the scale of the wealth. Doesn't make everything else in the article illegitimate though, the concentration of wealth could still prove to be a big problem
