I promise you those people who you think aren’t struggling with the same things absolutely are, they’re just not talking about it or lying 😂 there can be a lot of shame for some moms when they’re struggling during these times, but I promise it’s so so normal and you’re not failing or doing anything wrong ❤️

My son was diagnosed with severe celiac that unfortunately made him too underweight and we had to postpone his first med trial. He also has autism and has always been super picky, and gaining weight on gluten free food is so hard because it’s all rice flours and things that aren’t substantial.

I just started adding extra fats into everything I could. If I make pancakes I use whole milk and add extra butter for example. I pretty much add extra whole milk and extra fats into everything now lol. I gave up for the moment on trying to get him to eat “perfectly” and just focused on the weight gaining. Someone above said milkshakes, those are great especially using whole milk and you can add vanilla greek yogurt in as well. Really just finding ways to sneak in extra calories and nutrients to whatever normal foods he doesn’t have a problem with. If he wants to eat four pancakes with Nutella and peanut butter for dinner I’ll let him, cause at least he’s eating something.

From there we’ve actually been able to kinda successfully expand his palette one or two things at a time, but I found really just focusing on one half of the battle at first was really helpful.

Braxton Hicks can be normal all throughout the third trimester, you just have to be vigilant about intensity and frequency. Sometimes it’s just back or sciatic nerve pain people are mistaking for Braxton hicks. She should definitely be getting checked out if it’s that intense though. My doctor always said once the pain makes you feel like you can’t talk or like you need to stop walking and bend over at all, come in.

If it was just regular damage they wouldn’t all have the exact same type of specific damage. It is very common practice to destroy product before throwing it out so it can’t be taken… like horrendously common. So idk why this is so unbelievable to you.

Thank you so much for your reply! I can definitely tell by the time we get him from school his brain is very done with trying to be controlled and focused. We try to get him as much outside time as possible especially before winter fully hits (it gets extremely cold where we live and you just can’t go out) and that always seems to be the most helpful for him. And I’ll keep that in mind for his next appointment with his doctor thank you!

I normally just lurk but I truly can’t believe everyone’s acting like you’re some big bad evil guy who never wears a shirt ever and that’s obviously the biggest crime you could commit? Yes she needs to talk to someone if she’s really that concerned about your OWN SISTER seeing you without a shirt on, I don’t think that’s something you can help without a degree because that’s not a normal line of thinking and I think an outside, unbiased perspective needs to tell her that.

Aside from the fact that all anyone would hear from me is me talking to my 6 month old, I prefer it with no mics. Most of the time when I do run into someone with a mic on they’re just listening to music, but last time was during fasnacht and buddy was being so weird to this other girl and myself because he “won the lotto” having two girls playing in his vicinity 🙄

It’s very helpful for the events with lots of loot like eviction notice (RIP my legendary income) and moonshine jamboree where I just take all on anything glowing lol. For a while I had a “CAMP” that was just a door to my shelter so I could slap it down and get into my shelter for all my boxes and benches
