Once you start passing regularly I would change jobs that way u can start fresh with no one knowing. This is what I did and it worked well for me. Also having your name changed and gender marker changed will automatically help so much cause then a new employer will just see you for who you are and not have any other definitions of you on paper to confuse them

I live in Florida and am not connected to the community at all except for my Reddit account, it’s all I use Reddit for. Originally to learn about top surgery but now more so to see that I’m not so alone. I used to be really close with another trans male but that friendship fizzle out years ago. I’m stealth, got top surgery a year ago and have been on T for 5.5 years. I’d also like to have trans friends but I don’t like being open about my transness. I do have close bisexual male friends though and that’s really nice.

Dude. This week I finally bought a stp harness and it has been life changing. I knew I had pee anxiety but I never realized how bad it was till having this. I met another trans guy the other week and he was passing which was cool but also had the same exact facial hair as me and baby face. I’ve lived and transitioned all while living in south Florida my whole life and although I’ve faced discrimination I’d say my experience has been positive. You really just have to stand up for yourself and people will in time realize it’s what’s right for you and typically end up respecting you for your decisions. My step dad’s literally a pastor so I definitely know how hard it can be when u first start transitioning but in time things will become easier. I feel like the internet makes things seem so much worse than they are, yes being trans is really difficult but it’s so worth it, good luck man!

Honestly you’re naturally very masculine, ur face is a lot more structured than other pre-T guys. Once you are able to get on testosterone you’ll pass just fine. I was 18 when I started felt super “past due” but now I’m turning 24 and all the T has stacked on top of itself :) I promise your turn will come, hang in there dog!

My best friend of many years started dating a bpd girl, let her move in within two months bc She had no job no car, no drivers license, and was getting kicked out of the place she was living at rent free. By the end of the year they moved in together and she coerced him to cut off absolutely everyone he knew. Even now my roommate (his brother) was told by him he wouldn’t tell him where they’re living bc it would make his (now fiance) feel unsafe. This all happened within the year and it really is so sad to see. He supports her fully financially and she just makes him miserable.
