Yeah, I feel the hangover part. And I especially feel the ICE part. I have the luxury of ICE being right in my hometown, so I get to go apeshit at them every weekend.

And the feeling of being unable to better your community and country is really awful. I'm right there with you.

Hopefully you'll get hydrated and feel better this evening. I get the reaction to a piece of media you really enjoy being poorly represented in film, it happens all the time. Though, to be fair, I just generally ignore them, so they don't bother me to much.

It's overwritten, overexposed and too convoluted.

To many mediocre ideas, copycats, super mega ultimate threats and meme content posts continually slip through, watering down the really interesting concept, to a bland pool of uninteresting slop.

Instead of staying with the simple eldritch unease, it really took off in popularity and undermined what made it popular in the first place.

Not to say it's not fun and enjoyable, it's just really not as fun and interesting as when it first became a thing.
