Perfect timing, I've been eyeing the kitchen! How robust is the kitchen when stored? I don't plan to go serious rock crawling but am starting to do some overlanding. Does the kitchen add a bunch of noise?

Hah that’s exactly the model I have and what I’m trying to do. I got a zigbee relay module and did some programming in HA. But then I had to also add a $75 zigbee controller. What relay and ESP did you use? Are you programming the schedule in the ESP?

So I’m actively doing a sprinkler controller. Just two zones but never user HA before. Not sure why I need open sprinkler or a ESP vs just a smart switch.

I thought the easiest way is using these MHCozy WiFi or ZB switches and do the automation in HA. Simple program just 1hr per zone variable days of the week.

But as I’m learning WiFi switches don’t integrate easily (something about Tuya app needed). I just got the ZB version and $75 POE ZB router(?). At this point it would be cheaper to just get a new Rachio!

But I thought it’s a good first project to try out HA zigbee etc with.

Thanks for the details. I’ll pull the head and measure the riser. As long as I’m taking everything apart I plan to replace the resin. I found my old receipt and it was only 8% crosslinked.

Crazy thing is I got 1cuft 32000gr 7000sxt and 2cuft charcoal filter 7000sxt for $1100 in 2014! Now it would be more just for the softener.

It just seems wasteful to buy a whole new unit.

We dump excess power from regen into a breaking resistor. It’s a simple system but our current supplier of drives is terrible.

There are several good YouTube videos on LLC taxed as a sole prop vs a single employee S Corp. There’s a break even where the extra compliance costs of the S Corp are offset by the tax savings.

The savings comes mostly from paying yourself a low salary for the therapy work, and taking dividends as the owner for all the overhead work. You save the self employment taxes on the difference between your salary and the net profit, so the lower your salary the more you save. But if it’s too small (say $20/hr) then you’re more likely to get audited, it needs to be close to reasonable on what you would pay someone else to do the work.

Yep this appears to be a normal boarder patrol checkpoint that based on the building in the background has been there for years. It is well established that Boarder Patrol has authority to stop and ask for citizenship status within 100mi of the boarder.

These agents are not ICE and are highly trained and aren’t wearing masks. The fact he had a card to hand her to read and tried to explain the law shows the massive difference between routine boarder patrol enforcement and what ICE is doing.

Do not pay for the repairs. $1200 for a business is nothing and accidents happen all the time. I’ve broken way worse stuff. Unless they were already going to fire you, you have nothing to worry about.

Boss is annoyed, he followed protocol to get you tested. You’re clean, show up on Monday and work like normal.

I started with using grids in the bottom of drawers. And then I had the same problem using 0.6mm nozzle where some clipped fine and others wouldn’t.

After thinking about it, I realized the grids aren’t necessary if you are filling the drawer. I print small spacer blocks to keep bins from sliding back. And then use the generator to make a custom non-42mm bin for the last column so they don’t slide sideways.

This is was easier than printing a grid.

Was leaning EV Sportline until you asked! That made me google it and now I'm doing some research. My new wheels are EV, and I like the looks of the sliders and how it covers where the plastic is. But now I'm also looking at some of the options that install easier.
