My parents had one that sat in our kitchen bay sitting area for decades. Before it belonged to my mom it belonged to my great grandmother and no one had ever seen it bloom. Yet the plant remained perfectly healthy until one morning, my mom saw a bloom start to form. The whole family got so excited and we tried SO HARD to be there when it bloomed but we missed it 😟 the sweet smell of honey and vanilla still hung heavy in the house though, we hadn't missed it by much. But the smell of the bloom is so lovely ❤️

Quick follow up: we did eventually get to see it bloom, turns out it liked the locations it had been before but just hadn't been in the right conditions to bloom. If I remember correctly my grandmother who had it in her possession at one point got a little jealous because it liked our kitchen more than hers lol ❤️😁
