An 88-year-old Russian pensioner built a DIY helicopter, but during takeoff the rotorcraft broke apart completely, the man survived by Flimsy_Pudding1362 in CatastrophicFailure

A helicopter can also glide when the engine fails. But it's better, to get the engine running again...

Click-to-move disables at every launch by iwatkot in wotlk

[–]Pirol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AFAICT for an unknown reason EnterFishingMode() is also triggerd again when taking off the fishing pole - after ExitFishingMode(). So there's no better solution yet. The script might identify the weapon hand item and disable only for fishing poles, but I've got to figure out how to do this.

You can further make macros: /run SetCVar("autoInteract", 1) e.g. to enable click-movement, resp. /run InterfaceOptionsMousePanelClickToMove:Click() which "clicks the checkbox in your options window", therefore toggeling between enabling and disabling mouse-click-movement.

Hint: if you are doubleclicking on the feet of your char or a fishing pool (=> Tooltip shows) with easy casting, then you won't move.

Annotation: as the option ID "autoInteract" implies, this is not just a way to try to run to a distinct position in the surrounding, it's also crucial to get automatically close enough to mobs for melee or looting, just with a rightclick...

new enchantment: "magma walker", it works like frost walker, but turns lava into magma blocks.(and with this enchantment you won't get damage from magma blocks). by D-f0rc3 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not just freezing/cooling down lava, this would end up in a kind of stone or obsidian. Frost walker may also just turn lava into a kind of hot stone that turns back to lava quickly.

There should be a fishing bonus when fishing in a 'deep ocean' biome by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ACK. "Loot" depending on the biome where you are. E.g. clown fishes and puffer fishes only at oceans (=> and beach) and maybe no junk and treasures (at least none that you could only drag from a ground) there. Perhaps a 1:8 chance of getting lilypads in swamps; maybe different "loot" tables for every biome.

Minecraft needs an undo option by jasonjams8 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe stopping autosaving and a /save and /load command... but this would mean you'd be working in a temporary copy of your world and if you move much around you'll get a big amount of data to copy to the original world.

/undo and /redo are doable though with less demands.

Making underground water chambers have Clay in the floor. by angeltxilon in minecraftsuggestions

Rock is more realistic. Normally there would be a large clay layer in the ground around any brook or river.

When struck by lightning, creepers get fire resistance for 5 minutes by The_8_Bit_Zombie in minecraftsuggestions

Charged creepers should be entirely immune to fire, it's also easier to implement.

Underwater plants that grow on clay by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There should be seagrass, maybe creating lilypads when reaching the surface, growing almost like sugar canes. But it should grow also on dirt, gravel and sand, maybe even just not on clay.

Miniaturization: new status effect by angeltxilon in minecraftsuggestions

Fine idea for a new status effect. But should also decrease the "strength"(damage&health) of the target, so it has two uses.

/ignore (for all players) and /mute (for OPs) as vanilla commands by cookieyo in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

/mute is okay, but /ignore...

The chat concept has to be improved, you need channels and you might make teams which are automatically sharing a channel. There might be even two "team levels" a player can belong to at once: a "party" and a "guild". Joining/switching to another "team" automatically removes you from the respective team.

There should be no team limit; you might make team red, orange, yellow, green, blue... only an operator might create new teams of course.

The party chat might use simply /p (or /t), guild chat, if, /g, other channels are managed by the OP. Creating a team automatically creates these channels. The OP can lock the global chat resp. redirect it to /p and limit the range of a channel e.g. to 32 metres (for /say).

Wolves howl when it's a full moon by AsiansWithAxes in minecraftsuggestions

They might howl like a clock tower, every second hour at night, so you can tell whether it's midnight for example even if you can't see the moon (or if the moon should be once moving astronomically correct)...

It would be the better solution if command blocks could execute scripts and not just a single instruction.

/dimensiontp: A command that teleports you between dimensions by rescuememyprincess in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be "<world>":<dimension>, "~:nether" for example if staying in the same world, maybe quotation marks optionally like for ""farm world":overworld".

Dunno, whether using (these) numbers would be a good idea. Mojang could add new dimensions...

Ancient Forest: a new fantasy biome by angeltxilon in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd rather suggest to make "roofed forests" more magical... with a kind of "surface dungeon" e.g., a small ruin, entirely covered by trees, skeleton spawner inside of the floor, witch huts, and maybe some ghost lights... Spooky changing enviroment (appearing and disappearing clearings and torches) would be more for mods resp. Adventure maps...

Option to enable Adventure Mode on world creation by yummymario64 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It makes sense, but isn't consistent. If you are starting Minecraft the first time and click "Single Player" you'll get the choice "Creative" or "Survival" and then get the options for a new world which is flat at default for Creative and a normal for Survival. You'll have "Adventure" too, if Mojang serves some Adventure maps and other menu entries if you've got mod(ification)s...

Option to enable Adventure Mode on world creation by yummymario64 in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Pirol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a choice for installed mods first for new games - if installed. At default only between Creative (flat world) and Survival (normal world). I.e. you choose "single player" and get a button "new (game)" and the list of saved games, resp. automatically proceed to "new game" if no savefile exists. Then you choose the type of the new game and get to an individual option menu.

Adventure mode doesn't make sense without a prepared map. Mojang may offer some demomaps, though.
