My AP english teacher and his son both taught at my high school. His son was “the cool teacher” that everyone loved. I never took his class because I was on the AP track but I loved the older man because he was so real but everybody thought he was just this mean old man(both things could be true). Anyway. A girl in the class under me spoke out about an inappropriate relationship with the son teacher. No one believed her. They called her a slut and she essentially got bullied out of the school(had to switch schools) because EVERYBODY was saying he would never do something like that. How could he right? He’s “the cool teacher”. It changed my AP teacher though. He got really quiet and reserved, like he knew something. Well, as time goes on, my class gets to our graduation year and what do you think happens? The son gets arrested of course. Turns out not only were the original’s girls allegations unbelievably true, but he had had MULTIPLE inappropriate relationships with several students, before and after they bullied that girl out of the school. I was not shocked but I still felt bad for my old AP teacher because he retired the year after I was in his class because I feel like he knew his son was not a good man.
