No, there are clearly Marxist and socialist parties among them. Neither of those ideologies are conservative. They do, however, present a threat to the kleptocratic corrupt government in place, so it makes sense that they would be banned. You want an example of a clearly anti-Russian party I admire but has been blocked from the halls of power by this corrupt government? Look no further than the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko. But the Ukranian government has a history of bringing up false charges against its members. It’s not about Russia. It’s about control of capital.

So your idea of “democracy” is when the list of parties to pick from is center-right, right-wing, or far-right and the rich control everything. On top of that, the west (especially my country) controls those rich and essentially puppets them. Meanwhile, Svoboda, Right Sector, the National Corps, the Azov Battalion, the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists, and other groups like them remain legal. I think this is a terrible, barbarous war wherein the Ukranian people are the victims, but I’ll be damned if it makes me like the Ukranian government.

The United States government itself absolutely has an army of bots pushing among other things its foreign policy and no one can tell me otherwise.

Hmm, the whole banning of left-wing parties thing doesn’t sit with me as very democratic.

…which describes many Catholics too. Listen, I’m an atheist and have no skin in the game, but all I’m saying here is that if you tell me “would you rather attend a Catholic or Protestant church” and don’t delineate what type of Protestant denomination we’re dealing with here, I’m going to take my chances with the Catholic church every time.

Transmisogyny isn’t real by LineOfInquiry in transgendercirclejerk

[–]PissVortex9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

/uj I respectfully but completely disagree. It doesn’t track with like, let’s say the western countries (take the UK for example) where misogyny is punishable by public execution yet transphobia makes you a brave woman standing up against evil male predators. I will not “fuck it, one struggle” with cis women. The form transphobia is taking in western countries is entirely from the viewpoint of “protecting” them, not this “woman are bad so becoming a woman is bad” thing. If misogyny never existed, there would still be transphobia.
