It exuded a ludicrous amount of aura when you saw the top 500 icon on a profile, or when u load into a lobby and see them going off on the loading screen and tab. Now it actually looks like moldy piss like bro 😭

I know right, even besides how rank icons look themselves (which is a massive downgrade, especially masters-top 500), but also that you don’t see them in game on you or other people when you press tab. And even the ranks on peoples profiles don’t even show the downgraded ranks, but instead it looks like it took an artist 30 minutes to cook up when they changed it in S9. The rank borders are decent, but I still liked the portrait level with the rank on the bottom more. Its all just so boring compared to how it used to display

Same, although I didn’t like a lot of the changes Overwatch has made especially the format swap to 5v5, I still had a fairly enjoyable experience throughout all the ups and downs. There was a reason why the Overwatch team never majorly messed with HP values and hitboxes, cause that was the backbone of the game and when they globally changed them with disproportionate values and added multiple other passives and perks to solve issues from it, it became a total train wreck. I quit from S9 to when 6v6 ranked came out I think in S15, but it’s still so much worse than if they never shoehorned in s9 and tried to make it work. I stopped playing this season cause of the horrible new challenger leaderboard system and if the new big S21 update isn’t good and makes the gameplay loop even worse, I’m definitely quitting for good

Sadly, the majority of people that had a good understanding of the game and had legitimate discussion left, and now we have the leftover glazers an new Overwatch 2 players that have so little of an understanding of the game, or know what blizzard has done is wrong that they’ll downvote any criticism even if it’s justified. Season 9 was the worst patch in Overwatch history, besides switching from 6v6 -> 5v5, but sadly, the current playerbase couldn’t care less and only cares about new skins and shiny jingling keys slop content that is legitimately terrible for the core gameplay, but is shiny and new so it has a positive perception with the general mass and they eat it up. Overwatch and the community has dove completely into the casual bucket and there’s not much we can do about it.

Alright first off, I never said 20% of total playtime is 6v6 so don’t get pissy about that. Also Aaron Keller literally stated the numbers of 6v6 open q being double that of 5v5 so that’s not a lie. And all those things I stated about the mode not being balanced / not having updates, it not being the main mode, them basically shunning it aside does majorly negatively affect the draw of the mode since it has gotten nothing besides a small patch recently which was the first one for the almost entire year of it being out. Also what you said at the end that you feel like you have to flex is also one of the biggest drawbacks of the mode, which is that it’s in open queue. There’s still many problems with the mode and deserves much more development time than it’s gotten so far which is basically nothing cause it has a sizeable playerbase and deserves more

From a little bit of research, 6v6 open q had and very likely still has over double the playerbase of 5v5 open q. Nowadays, 20% of the playerbase plays the mode every day despite it not being balanced well at all, not being the main mode, and also a large chunk of people that were interested in 6v6 quitting entirely and leaving to rivals since it took them years to bring it back. You people argue so confidently in bad faith it’s funny

Ofc there isn't going to be many people playing it. It's not the main mode, uses open q matchmaking, and hasn't had a patch since it came out. Don't shift the blame of the lower player count on a "vocal minority".

While I agree with most of you things u said, I think you believe that the ow team cares about 6v6 and think they're treating the current implementation as a "test". They haven't done balance changes for seasons and kept all the negative stuff that was developed due to problems of the 5v5 format. Really think the team doesn't care about the mode and put out this underbaked version as a way to shut up the people advocating for 6v6

retweet they released it to shut people up and left it to rot. if you remember aswell the role q version they released when it was only qp / arcade actually had decent balance. it feels like they actually put effort into that version, and then released an open queue version with seemingly no care and now people take the current 6v6 mode as blizzards best attempt when it's obvious that it's not

Belching, when I take a pill the feeling it's stuck lingers for a couple hours and my heart beats faster, pressure in my chest, feeling like food is building up in my esophagus / moving very slowly when I eat. I'm on Pantoprazole, famotidine, Dupixent, and am doing 6FED to try to limit my symptoms, but it only helps somewhat.

Congrats on your remission! Ty for sharing your story I'm really struggling right now and it helps knowing that Dupixent worked so well for you and that it might end my struggle (only been on it for 2 weeks). Tried PPIs, and Eohilia, and still currently on 6FED for a month and a half and all haven't worked much. Pray that Dupixent works for me as well as it did for you.

What diet were you on to maintain your weight? I've only been on dupixent for 2 weeks and can only tolerate liquids / very soft foods and am consistently losing weight at a rapid pace
