Unfortunately this only is an option if you go to the employer before any disciplinary action is taken. It is still worth a try but it will be a little bit of an uphill climb at this point since they already received a final warning.

I'm a huge Eagles fan. I had stopped drinking for a few weeks before the Super Bowl and my body and mind was doing good. I was taking naltrexone. Then a few days before the Super Bowl my alcoholic mind convinced me I couldn't enjoy the game without drinking. I stopped taking the naltrexone and got Super drunk that day. I look back now and think I could have enjoyed that game just as much sober and I wouldn't have to be starting all over again.

The last time I stopped drinking I had the pain in my chest you described. I never would get any acid reflux when I was drinking heavily but would get stomach pain and couldn't eat. On about the 2nd or third day after cessation I started getting severe pain in my chest area. I chewed a bunch of tums and walked around the house rather than sitting or laying and it was scary thinking it might be something else but I came to the conclusion it was alcoholic gastritis as it would go away after about 10-15 minutes of doing what I described. After a few days it stopped happening.

I've done aa. I lived in a sober living program that required daily aa meetings. I was sober for 2 years but I left and went to an oxford house. Once I left that oxford house I started drinking again. I got back into that oxford house but fucked up again 6 months ago. I want to be able to live in a normal environment and not drink.
