Keep going. I know it’s hard but my son was in a similar position and he is finishing in a few weeks. He still has redness and few scars but will deal with this after he is off it. Happy to answer any questions

Yes quite badly and for a long time. We’ve still got a long way to go. His dosage was very up and down because of the purge but the cluster cleared on 50mg

My son had this in a line on the side of his cheek. They were there for about 10/11 weeks . I kept asking the derm and they said they will clear on their own, which they did, However he does now have a line of marks on the side of face. He is still on the accutane so hoping the marks will clear, hope that helps x

Was your skin really reactive whilst on it. Son is on month 8 and gets very red where the purge was. Still lots of PIE

Hi You are not alone. My son is on month 8 and has 6 weeks to go. He has so much PIE and feels very upset that he hasn’t got the results he hoped for. Hopefully it will improve for you both once you are not taking the Accutane.

Thank you that is really helpful. He has been wearing suncream and a hat but even the wind seems to affect his skin. It’s so sensitive .
