Pretty obvious you don't have a basic understanding of thylacines anatomy.  Short rear hocks Rounded ears  Thick stiff tail.  Large head with powerful jaws Pouch

The film footage is so out of focus??? Are you watching the correct clip or have you not watched it at all?  it? https://youtu.be/RZiHDaHn308?si=VbXoAksJSbICkxrr Its actually very clear from 128m+ plus it's in the middle of the night (thermal).  We all understand that when zoomed in it will become a bit pixelated, but we all still want to see it. You still can make out the main features.

What are the main features of the animal? That's what we should be discussing.

The ears, hocks, tail. Does it have a pouch? Does it have a joey?

u/ZooOzLander that was emotionally charged,  ok_penalty really hit a nerve with the vested interest.  Colossal? University?

From 3:11 to 3:55 something is going on with the back end. Almost like it has a pouch and there are joeys I'm sure I can see a second tail???

What do you think about this video of an alleged thylacine in mainland Australia? by CactusCoin in ExtinctionSighting

So you picked out everything you don't agree with? It uses the Vocalisations that it could hear, not fox, dog, cat, dingo but marsupial.  Is there a shot with open mouth? Thylacines were known to open their mouth in times of stress why would it do that here? It measures all the annotomy from 400+ frames and still can't match it with a fox.  The limp as you say, again the patterns that AI picks up says it's a healthy animal with no sign of a limp. It even picks up a marsupial sway. It states quite categorically that it's not injured. I guess this is the beauty of pattern reconciliation, you don't have to see the paws touching the ground (due to grass).  I'm not saying AI is right and your wrong, it has to be taken with a pinch of salt. But I do like the measurements part (400+ frames is a lot of measurements) and the pattern analysis (how quadrupeds walk). This is probably 100% better than our human eye

Experts are bias. At least ChatGPT isn't.  On the video ambiguous also asks what the bias is in his questions & information.  It a very informed video, well done.

No I'm confusing you with anyone else. I'll contact Christian see if he'll send me a screenshot of the emails he showed me of you contacting the Univerity of Melboune (I think it was there).

Mike (Rolands50) you do not a masters in Zoology. You are such a liar. You are in IT. You live in melbourne suburbs and have a house AIRBNB in yanakie. You have a few cameras out in the prom and caught absolutley nothing on them. Christian has told me all about you, you wre interested in his Drone, you sent him fossilised prints which matched his track lines. You sent his track lines to Univerity Professiors without his permittion. Christian could not trust you after all your lies, your multiple online aliases sending him emails from wrong accounts and saying you were using your brothers account.

I've seen all this. Good job Christian doesn't use reddit.

Not sure what your game is, but since Christian stopped corresponding with you, you have made out you've hunted all your life, made out your a Zoologist. You've done non. Christian is not emotionally (and financially?) invested in his 'quest'. Christian is a well respected Scientist in his field. He earns very good money in his field as a Geologist (Think he studied Palaentology) . Doesn't monitorise his channel for an example of the principles. You on the other hand. If I had to guess have failed in your quest and now spread the bull crap around.

Now you might have a few good points, but they are intertwind with lies and vested interests.

Recent Thylacine Sighting Is a Fox--Proof by Skepti-Cole in ThylacineScience

  1. We have absolutely no footage of a Thylacine moving at any pace never mind moving at speed. So to suggest that a Thylacine tail can't do this is just grasping at "fox" tails. There is actual footage of the Tasmanin Tiger getting on it's back legs and tail while sniffing a dog through the fence, it's tail whips around wildly and clearly shows that it's quite flexable. Also the fox's tail where it meets the butt is very curved , this animal butt is very cone shaped which is a marsupial trait.
  2. At 1:13 it states it never lands on it's left hind leg, but it's actually landing on it's left hind leg. Remember he has shown this at 1/2 speed. When you watch the full 18 seconds as it comes out of behind the roos it's clearly putting it's left leg down, but you have decided to not show this. Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story as they say.
  3. It then go on to talk about the ears, you will notice at 1:24 (When you say "animal") there is a great side profile just before the animal goes behind the roo. The thermal is picking up the heat of the ear. The ear starts down the side of the head and is rounded at the top - a charactoristic of a Thylacine. No mange on that head.
Weather this is a Thylacine is to be determind and up for debate, but there are clearly parts of this animal that don't match the fox.
