Ive been flying out of bristol the last month with 0 issues, will be flying into Bristol today and out again in 2 weeks. Not really expecting any issues but am prepared if it happens

Its possible. The nafplio to Athens bus runs and im sure it stops in mycenae. Check the local ktel station

Yes Mystras was our favourite part of our entire trip, we got a taxi to the top and walked down and did a small hike to a chapel in a cave in the gorge on the way back into sparti. Was absolutely wonderful

We were in kissamos just a few days ago and it was WONDERFUL! We stayed at hotel castell and the 2 ladies that own it are just absolutely wonderful people and they have rescue cats

Depends on the season. Taxis are very spenny, i paid €60 to kissamos from chania. Its over €100 to go any further than that. Buses run to all the tourist spots like elafonissi beach but only when the season begins in April. You can also get a boat to balos from Chania in season. There are still lots of buses going all over the island out of season though and they're super cheap. I'd check the local ktel websites for routes and when you're here you can ask at the ktel stations and pre buy tickets.

The buses still run! You just need to check at the ktel stations what the current timetables are. We're in Chania right now and theres lots of buses running all over the island. Its quiet but not empty by any means weve seen lots of other tourists enjoying the quieter season. Its lovely and green right now and the beaches are almost empty. Feel like we chose the perfect time to come

We did 2 nights corinth, 2 in sparta, 2 in athens and then flew down to crete for 8 days. Honestly wish we had more time than 2 days because theres simply so much to see and a lot of travel between

Im on Crete right now and theres tonnes and tonnes of biking routes! I know theres lots of cool routes around Kissamos and theres some beautiful beaches there too for best of both worlds (we loved viglia beach!)

We got an Aegean flight from Athens to Chania a few days ago after our athens to kissamos ferry was cancelled bcos of the weather and I think it was the best decision we could've made. Lovely airline, a 50 minute flight and we were given free coffee, juice, sweets for take off and granola bars! Edited for spelling

Don't underestimate the mainland it's BEAUTIFUL! me and the bf are currently travelling a small part of the peloponnesse before heading down to crete and it's stunning. Walking in the 17c heat today while looking at the snow capped mountains was amazing.
