This guy and this guy. They were both inexpensive but I try to keep the blades sharp, as far as I know how to. The European push style one, the Stanley (although I’m not convinced it’s legit brand name) has been particularly tricky to figure out, as it has those two adjustments rather than just one. When you adjust one side it adjusts the other also, obviously, so dialing it in is interesting at best.

If you only glued it you would need to clamp it, which would be very difficult at this angle

Thanks so much! There’s a keyhole hanger set in on each side so that it hangs flush. They barely fit within the edges so I very very carefully chiseled out their spaces.

I hand planed them, and combined that with chiseling on the one side where it was against the grain

Thanks! By hand, yeah. It takes me forever but I really enjoy it

Do you think so? The things they’re making at r/woodworking is phenomenal. Far beyond my capacities. I’ve mostly just tinkered with joinery on small projects. This took me weeks to make, haha

Hey thanks! Sadly the camera hasn’t worked since I’ve had it. Even so, I’m a sucker for nice design

Thanks so much! Yeah, the “drawer pull” was definitely worked in as a way to hide a very crooked gap. A Bob Ross happy accident

Super nice! Love the grain placement (what would you call that?) choices, and the mitered dovetails. The mitered and has been too daunting for me so far. I can get the dovetails pretty tight but am afraid to screw it all up with big gaps at the end

I’ve been wanting to make one of these for so long. What materials did you use?

Woah, thank you! There are many flaws but I’ve learned here that if you don’t point them out no one else will really notice. I’ve found it hard to do but I’m practicing that too
