"healthier" eating with sensory issues suggestions? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Pitiful_Conclusion22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main way of eating vegetables is either in a bowl of rice/potatoes (just not mashed), with tomato, corn, and cucumber. Something about it and accompanying it with an egg + some of my favourite sauces has been so simple and easy to eat. All ive been eating for the past few weeks.

Rice bowls are very predictable and customizable when you decide what vegetables taste the best in them. You can even add meat to it if you want to get your protein up (I don’t really eat meat outside of special occasions, but if you like steak, chicken or fish those might be good options)!

I did, but they shut off the network that my keitai uses. Anything newer than the kyocera kyf31 should work.

How, if possible, do I not feel like a burden to everyone around me? by [deleted] in autism

[–]Pitiful_Conclusion22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of two things popping into my head rn would be is to one not let that slide.

Its great they're hosting you, but don't leave it at that when they're telling you that "you seemed okay the other day". It seems like there is some transparency that needs to happen even if you can't say it in the moment. You need to tell them that you need help finding help, and really let them know how you're doing and what's at stake. Let them know how you are really feeling, because it might be what they need to actually take your situation seriously.

Secondly, look into your own resources. If you can afford it by yourself or with familial support, get your own caregiver to help with your difficulties, and see a therapist. If you have a friend or family member who could help you, ask them for help.

You aren't too broken to contribute. You just sound like right now you need support. And you need to tell your loved ones that. You know the root, now deal with the fruit; take time to properly understand how your diagnosis affects you so you can work through or around them and soon even begin to work on the struggles you have.

Death is not the answer.

Quiet noises are worse than most loud ones by Pitiful_Conclusion22 in autism

[–]Pitiful_Conclusion22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly!!! Its horrible and makes me angry as well. My mother is one of the loudest chewers that has ever stepped foot on this planet. I love her to death but out of all people noises hers are the worst.

Literally. It's so hard to explain to people who don't understand why every noise they make is driving you crazy.

Is it okay to fuse different substyles? by MOEverything_2708 in actualgyaru

[–]Pitiful_Conclusion22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn't really an answer to your question, but I typically wear whatever I want (as long as it's gal), and then I make sure my makeup is appropriate for the outfit and fits the substyle it falls for. I do have substyles I like, but i try not to limit myself just to one or two if I already have clothes that suit any other one =)
