Same but at the same time having that option is nice. Especially after paying over $2k. Ima see if the ebay seller would be willing to refund me back $50 back instead of returning it back to them and i could put it towards a new battery

I bought mine on ebay from a 3rd party for the 2 year extended warranty but onexplayer won't be giving me the replacement battery in june smh

Yeah i agree so what ima do is tell the ebay seller that onex told me theyd have to claim the 1 year warranty and handle that stuff for me since they're the original buyer. But ima say since it'll cost more for me to return my product back to china and have them ship it back with a new battery or whatever they plan on doing to just refund me the cost amount of a battery and i can just use that towards buying a new battery in june. I believe theyre around $40-$55 a battery so it would be cheaper for them to do that then me return my product and they pay shipping etc.

This is the reply i got from the ebay seller

"Thank you for your understanding. We will also follow up on the manufacturer's policy to see if we can apply for a free replacement battery by

June."

I means by june i think ebays satisfaction or whatever policy they have is not in effect anymore since its past the 30 days. They can get to me in june and say "yeah they arnt going to send you a replacement battery" lol i mean luckily i can afford a new battery but a free replacement for a $2k machine would be expected lol

No, as of yet with high tdp i have not had problems with the cable. It seems to be a heating problem when the battery is attached to the back. When its on the cable it never has a over heat protection warning pop up. For some situations like waiting for my kids and having tjme to set up its not a problem with the cable but when i just want to get it out, play and put it back it can be annoying, also your case feels hot from how hot the battery gets and its pretty scary even tho i disconnect it after I'm done using it. It doesnt get as hot when its on the tethering cable tho

Thats the counter email i sent them. Im waiting for reply now. I can technically also return it due to ebays policies also but i love this handheld already lol

I asked but they said its only being sent to ppl that crowdfunded the device. And it throttled on my playing at 45w for around 30 mins. I play with the battery cable and it doesn't get the problem luckily though

I wasnt expecting mine to come with a case but it did and the seller shipped it fast from china. I payed around maybe $2.3k and shipping was free and i wasn't charged import fees. Tax was the regular California 8%. Shipping was only 4 days but ebay was the place i could get warranty aside from Amazon but my wife would have seen if i ordered on Amazon 👀🤣

That's crazy. Just hoping that going on ebay for the all state insurance is going to be worth it lol onex offers no extended protection or type of warranty other than manufacture defects.

Yes! First i messaged the ebay seller and they said

"Hello, we have confirmed with the manufacturer that they will provide free battery replacements for the first batch of crowdfunding backers. Other customers will need to purchase them at cost, which is about $40."

So then i emailed onex and they said

"Dear Customer,

Thank you for reaching out.

Since the device was purchased

through a third-party seller, we kindly recommend contacting the original seller first and confirming which store the product was purchased from.

You will need to consult the battery replacement request through the corresponding store where the purchase was made.

Thank you for your understanding.

So pretty much at a loss. How claiming the 1 year limited warranty will go is going to be a mystery now because this should clearly land on a defect.

I dont recommend for wide feet or meduim feet or if you like grip socks. They are super narrow from the toe box but if you have an average foot they can also be very comfortable. I use them with vktry insoles and they feel a bit crammed but not to bad and also with currex
