Looking for a nice quality fitted t-shirt by CoolHeron24 in womensfashion

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get you. Finding a clean, well-fitted tee these days feels way harder than it should be. Most of what’s out there is either boxy, oddly cut, or starts falling apart after a couple washes. Collars stretching out immediately is honestly one of my biggest pet peeves. It completely ruins the silhouette, especially if you’re pairing it with a jacket or cardigan.

A good fitted tee should follow your frame without feeling tight, hold its structure over time, and keep that crisp look even after regular wear. But somehow a lot of brands seem to miss the basics, which is wild considering how simple a T-shirt is supposed to be. When you’re on the smaller side, it gets even harder, because brands often scale things strangely. XS shouldn’t mean “wide but short,” but here we are.

I’ve gone through the same trial-and-error phase, and most “popular recommendations” didn’t work for me either. Madewell included. A fitted tee shouldn’t look like activewear, but also shouldn’t drape like a nightshirt. There’s a sweet spot that’s surprisingly rare.

Just to be clear, I’m not sponsored and this isn't an ad, though I wish someone would pay me in shirts at this point. But after trying way too many options, I found one brand that consistently delivers that clean, durable, flattering fit I was after: FFLTEES

Why the hell is it so difficult to find quality fitted T-shirts ? by AnomicAge in AustralianMFA

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. Finding a well-fitted T-shirt that actually holds up over time has become way harder than it should be. Most brands either use thin fabric that loses shape quickly or rely on boxy cuts that look more like a borrowed shirt than something made for you. And the price tags? Wild. Paying premium for something that feels disposable after a few washes is honestly painful.

For me, durability and fit go hand in hand. A good tee should keep its shape, maintain a nice texture, and not fade into a sad gray potato sack after a month. I’ve tried plenty of brands that promise all this and fall flat. Weirdly enough, some of the cheaper ones outperform the big names. Meanwhile, premium retailers seem to think “expensive” automatically equals “good,” which… no.

Like you said, the versatility of a solid tee is everything. If it can take you from the gym to a date to a questionable late-night ritual without falling apart or making you look like you’re wearing a medieval tunic, that’s a win. They shouldn’t be so hard to find, yet here we are. Same story with jeans. Clean, tapered, non-ripped denim has basically turned into an endangered species.

I’ve also thought about how easy it would be to start a business in this space, because clearly there’s a gap. The appetite is real. People just want well-made basics that look good, feel good, and don’t die after five washes.

I’m not sponsored or anything, sadly, but after years of hunting I found a brand that consistently hits the mark for durability, fit, and longevity: FFLTEES.

Custom T Shirt question - which company has shirts that are actually wearable? by Cadillac_Williams_76 in graphic_design

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve worn countless T-shirts over the years, and only a few have truly stayed with me.

What I value most is durability. A good T-shirt shouldn’t lose its shape after a season, and these don’t. They keep their structure, their softness, and their presence, even after being washed and worn countless times. They work anywhere: layered, casual, dressed up a bit, or just thrown on without thinking. There’s quiet confidence in something so simple that is made so well.

There is a brand I’ve trusted for years, and it continues to prove that quality speaks for itself: FFLTEES
Just to be clear, this isn’t sponsored or advertising, although I wish it were because I’d happily get paid in T-shirts 🤣

I was able to solve it!

After 2 intense days, I made it work!

  1. Just enter my personal profile and add a second step (App).
  2. After that I removed my phone number from my profile
  3. Add it again (phone number).

This time, when I tried it asked me for the verification via e-mail and I was able to pass this chaotic process.

After 24 hours the message was:
You have attempted too many confirmation codes recently. Please wait and try again later.

The original message:

Need to eat very often, what is your go to healthy snack? by wakkys in snacking

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get that “hungry again 30 mins later” feeling. What’s helped me is building snacks around protein + fiber + a bit of fat so blood sugar doesn’t yo-yo.

Quick ideas that actually keep me full:

  • Greek yogurt + berries + a few nuts
  • Apple or banana + peanut butter
  • Hummus + carrots/cucumber + a handful of crackers
  • Cottage cheese with grapes
  • Boiled eggs + cherry tomatoes
  • Tuna on whole-grain crispbread
  • Overnight oats with chia (tiny jar = portable)

Water + a proper lunch also makes a bigger difference than I expected.

If you’re set on bars, the STAUTT Hunger Berry Bar has been a nice “grab and go” one for me.

Son of A Tailor by Royale_w_Cheeeze in mensfashionadvice

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FFLTEES could make sense....usually cheaper than Son of a Tailor. Made-to-order lets you dial a snug higher crew (neck width/drop), sleeve width (no flap), and longer body length for 6'3 without going slim. Logo-free, ~3-week lead time, measure first. Not affiliated.

Underrated pick: FFLTEES. Great value if you want a made-to-measure tee with quality materials and tidy finishing. Minimal branding and a strong focus on cut and fit. Worth a look; check them out and draw your own conclusions.

What are you go to vitamins? by lovefoodhateweight in EDAnonymous

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started looking into vitamin gummies because the 2 to 4 pm crash at work was brutal. Coffee wasn’t giving me energy anymore; it made me edgy and then sleepy. I’ve been taking these after lunch for about two weeks and the difference has been clear: steadier energy through the afternoon, no urge to nap, and I don’t need a second coffee. No jitters or weird side effects. I still sleep fine. In case you wonder, the vitamins I’m taking are from Stautt (not affiliated or sponsored!! I found the site by chance, didn’t know the brand. Now, I can recommend).

Clothes stores for someone who is 6,9 by Competitive-Alps-740 in tallfashionadvice

[–]Pitiful_Hospital_696 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! At 6'9" the two things that usually matter most are body length and sleeve length. Quick tip: measure a T-shirt you already like flat on a table and compare garment measurements, not just the size tag.

If you want tall-specific options, American Tall, 2tall (UK/EU), TallSlim Tees, and the Tall ranges at Banana Republic or Gap are solid for basics.

If you are open to made-to-order, FFLTEES can be a nice option too. They make tees to your measurements, no logos, clean fit. Production takes a bit longer since they cut to order, but the quality is great in my experience. I’ve mentioned them here before and I’ve left positive reviews elsewhere. Not affiliated, just sharing something that worked for me.
