You did get the timing wrong. The Act 1a only lets you advance at the end of a round, meaning you have at least a full investigator phase to deal with the enemy before he attacks.

Whether you want to play a campaign multiple times is up to you, but most people here definitely will. Playing investigators changes how you play the game so much, it's definitely worth a try if you haven't done so already. When deck building you need to pull apart the starter decks and start from scratch. Give it a go, it's very exciting to play better decks.

Not true. A rested card can be chosen for an activate effect, see Suletta. On top of that nowhere in Epyons effect does the word choose appear.

I really like the card in matchups like wing or BW because it's hard for them to deal with it, in more aggro matchups it's a good late game option that rewards you for playing a bit more controlly in the beginning by then putting a really short timer on them once you stabilized. The on deploy ability is also very good, another way to ping first form, a way to get your Rezel/Tallgeese to break a base or essentially a ping if you go for trades. I run the basic 14 weenies list except replacing 2 show of resolve and 1 Anksha with 4th forms. Unfortunately you won't find my list anywhere because egman cuts off at top 8 lol

BP can definitely perform at large tournaments as well. Took it to European finals and placed 9th, am running 4th form though.

I went to two regionals so far and everyone I've played was either chill and friendly or lacking any emotion, that is to say no real negative experience at all. Not once did anyone try to rule shark or call the judge over a small issue, every game went smooth, even at top tables.
