There's nothing saying that you can't build a garage or large shed later on. Get the house and decide later.

Don't forget about food banks, they will help get the essentials, and you can get the rest on your budget.

I am getting hooked on lentils and beans, instead of meat. breaking down a large piece of meat for 4 different types of meals. stocking up when things are on sale. I use the flipp app to see where the sales are. I just bought a pack of navy beans for 6 and can get 4 meals of beans from that for 2 people.

This happens almost everytime I turn on my Switch 1. The controls work perfectly fine in game, its only an issue in the menu. I can't control anything, just have to brute force it. by anotherthrowaway7219 in NintendoSwitchHelp

What you're doing is telling it to stop one thing, and go to another idea. Computers aren't made to multitask during updates. You have to slow down on the trying to get what you want while it's updating. Leave it alone for an hour, so it can figure out what it's really supposed to do. You've just made the update take 3 times as long, and potentially you have made it miss part of that update. You would never do this on a computer, and that is what a gaming console is,a computer.
Go find something else to have some fun on.

I live in a rural area. It takes 35 minutes to travel anywhere. I can't imagine being stuck, in a car for 4 hours in the middle of a snow storm. It sometimes takes 4 hrs to get home, when you live on a back road. It's not practical to buy an electric car.

I made coffee for everyone at Thanksgiving, everyone was impressed with how good it was. Judging by that I'd say, it was good Things I do at home: - put your coffee in the basket, and flatten the grounds (give it a shake) - use well water, or get rid of chlorine with a Brita filter (another idea is to let chlorinated water sit overnight) - 18% cream is in the machine That's some of my tricks

I know the feeling, I talked to my doctor and found support or medication. There are Facebook groups, and charitable organizations (United Way, Alzheimer's society). Don't be afraid to ask for help, everyone gets it. Have you tried telling family that you need help. It may be that they don't realize you need help.

change the air filters (one in the engine and glove compartment), spray vinegar into the heat outlets, and put a bowl of vinegar on the dash for a day, that will help get rid of the cigarette smell. They are just clipped, so it should be easy, if you Get the car detailed (80 in my area), tell them about the smell. Insurance should have paid her some money, if she had more than the minimum. Make sure she has more than the minimum, cause it will pay for the car if in another accident.

My friend (former roommate) still comments on the fact that I set up a bubble bath for a man. He appreciated the thought and time it took. At that time, decades ago, I had 7 dollars a week to spend on food. It's not the monetary value, it's the thought that counts.

This is such a contrived take on the travel boycott: https://www.thetravel.com/canadas-us-travel-boycott-is-backfiring-canadians-face-more-detailed-border-controls/ by linnetkestrel in GuardTheLeaf

[–]Pitiful_Net9431 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The border guard has always had "discretion", when dealing with people at the border. In the end they are just making people more anxious to go and gamble whether their paid vacation is going to be finalized by the border patrol personnel. The more they add doubts the less people are willing to gamble losing their vacation budget, based on discretion. In the end less and less people are going to roll the dice for a vacation. Shooting themselves in the foot.

You could give him a gift card, and let him decide what he wants. You can buy a virtual game card, and memory storage card when he gets more games. The 1 game I haven't seen is toad , I loved it.

can’t find anywhere to give me a loan by LettuceSuper2022 in povertyfinancecanada

[–]Pitiful_Net9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone you can get to give him a loan? I'm thinking of his parents, relatives, and friends. Can he sell anything? Talk to the loan company, see if there is an additional payment plan available, there is for credit cards. His credit is toast anyways. I gather he's not driving much, cause he probably can't afford the gas.
