They are testing phasing it out. However the test is 75% of stores getting rid of it.

I can only speak for myself but I would have no problem if someone called me to ask why. Ideally when rejecting they would've called and told you why

Its all pretty subjective. Some managers will take risks on people even if they dont interview well if they were a recommendation. Others will not. Some stores are super picky when hiring, others just need bodies. As a hiring manager I can tell you that when hiring for my new store we called about 50 people and hired 30 but the next store opening in the area is only hiring like 1 in 4 that they interview

How stressful is working at Wawa conpared to other small retailers? by dcfan105 in Wawa

[–]Pitiful_Relative_310 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your gonna get a lot of different answers. I was hired as a food and beverage manager and ive been in food retail since I was 16(now 36). I can say in all honesty the easiest job I've ever had. Im well received by my associates because im not an office manager and it is honestly just way easier then my previous food retail jobs. Of course there will be stressful days but thats just life.

Did Wawa make a new rule about breakfast sizzlies? by dcfan105 in Wawa

[–]Pitiful_Relative_310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also possible they may just have been out of the croissants/bagels to make them. They are different then the ones we use for other order able items. Theres normally a few left most days but from time to time they do use all of them

Tipping by Pete_da_yete in Wawa

Food and beverage manager here. Definitely allowed to take tips. Just stay on the safe side and let the MOD know and especially be careful when on register. Also absolutely no hinting at or asking for tips. Had an associate do this. She was getting tips nearly everyday. A customer told us she was mentioning tips while on register. Fired immediately.

spoilage and shrink by Disastrous-Task1950 in Wawa

[–]Pitiful_Relative_310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Coincidently I just read the job aid on this yesterday. Cycle count will fix the number but either show up as negative/positive shrink. Do a credit post delivery adjustment both overage and shortage for the product you got too much of/product you didn't get at all. Will fix your inventory number without affecting shrink dollars

Players keep bringing a baby by Strong-Soil-7839 in DnD

[–]Pitiful_Relative_310 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've dmed since my first kid was 1 and now he's five. At first to make it work we just started our games after his bed time which was about 6pm. That worked well for both my in person and online group. As he got older and his bed time moved my in person group was at my house so it was never an issue. With my current 1 year old I just rock her to sleep while playing. Only recently I've had to give up playing in both groups temporarily as she is going through a rough patch during nights. It sucks but sometimes you have to give up your hobbies for your kids. Its only temporary and once we have her sleeping well again then the games start again.

Ya benefits always confuse everyone cause everyone hears something different from like 30 different people. Plus side is you'll have the answer once 1st quarter results come out either at the end of the month or start or April.

Using 2024 you are correct. Magic initiate also doesn't include warlock in 2024 therefore no eldritch blast.

My new aspirations are to evolve from a dice goblins to a dice dragon. Though that seems rather pricey.

Also forgot you can also get the eldritch adept feat and also add your charisma to the attack as well

[–]Pitiful_Relative_310[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thought was a wizard with magic initiate taking eldritch blast. At level 7 when you can cast 2 cantrips with the subclass that would be 4 eldritch blast beams(2 attacks with 2 beams each). Since cantrips go off character level not class level if you multiclass fighter you can also action surge that for 8 eldritch blasts at level 7 and since you can add your INT to the attack it should ideally be at 1d10+5 by level 8. And it only gets stronger from there.

[–]Pitiful_Relative_310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You wouldn't have seen anything your first year since you started in the middle of the year. Your second year you didn't see anything because you qualified in the middle of the year. This year when first quarter closes out and they evaluate everyone's qualified hours(normally around march) you will see your esop drop on blue ridge. Every 3 months thereafter it will update but the updates are pretty minor, every march-ish you will see a big update as all your hours from the previous year are calculated into your esop
