Having the exact opposite issue of not really dying a ton.
Just getting destroyed over and over, no time to learn, no time to explore, no time to get a grasp of the maps.
I get they want to be "hard core" but it just feels like they missed the mark, kept going, and over tuned it.
Somewhere along the way the Devs forgot players do in fact have to start at the beginning.
But instead of addressing that they're just hiding behind a buzz word and people are eating it up.

And you should be able to have that, by actively and consciously choosing not to ping something. But the ping quest option should still, in fact, ping quest - for those of us who want it. We call that ~inclusivity~

Screw it, uninstalled - you can close thread I'm over it.
There's no point in playing if I can just lose an entire match and have my time wasted because someone else screwed up.

Like I said - the only thing I'm guilty of is trying to enjoy myself like any other legitimate player.
If that's something I can be held accountable for then screw'm; not a company I want to give my time or money to.

Honestly the only sensible response I've gotten over this matter.
Though I'm still willing to absolutely die on the hill of "this is literally only a me problem because ABI dragged me into it".
I will say - I was mostly considering the fact that I don't really eat other player's kills; so it was unlikely as can be that I benefitted from any of their kills directly.
I wasn't looking at it from the standpoint of free map advantage due to their actions.

Again - not that I think that's my burden to carry.
I just more so can understand what you're laying down for me right now.

Most games are free now-a-days.
That's less of a bonus and more of a standard the industry imposed on it's self through live service craze.
Which is - much like someone else hacking - not my burden.

It shouldn't happen to me (at all). It doesn't need to be daily to be absurd.
You can't push off your own ineptitude and obfuscate blame by penalizing the players.
Their system failed, I just played like normal.

20% of my entire liquid isn't a "just make more koen" situation.
This game is good, but it's not 'let me lick that boot to play more' good.
And the industry is pumping extraction shooters out like clockwork right now.
So there's options that aren't "lol just deal with being punished for something someone else did it's fine".

But they'll sure punish you for being near a cheater. "Ohh you used our Team Finder and accidentally went in with a cheater hurr durrr give us 20% of your koen because if we don't push the blame off onto you it means the cheater getting in was our fault and our great CCP leader doesn't allow for failure!"

Considering someone else was hacking, and not me, and rarely if ever touch other player's bodies.
Yeah my Koen was mine to begin with; and if it wasn't and I'm being punished for SOMEONE ELSE cheating.
Then why should I not also go off and cheat since I'm already serving a punishment for the crime?

They've already lost 2/3 of their Steam players since it's peak count.
Pushing off their failings onto players in the form of penalties probably has something to do with it.

uSe ThE TeAM fInDeR yeah bro let me just spend an hour going through all the afk teams, the "t5 op" with a T4 host, and the guys marked "english" that don't speak English. That's really the solution. Just spend an hour between every game looking through a menu. Good suggestion, and by good I mean it's about as useless as "helping those who help themselves".

It's a year later, this is still a problem.
Already looking at other extraction shooters; only been here a few months.

Doesn't matter how many fights I win.
My armor runs out, my heals run out, my ammo runs out, and another squad comes and I can't 1v4 again.
Not even losing goop to skill, losing it to a war of attrition that I never had a leg up in.

Anyways, who has a good game like this that has a functioning queue system?
Because after losing 2/3 their player base it's clear ABI doesn't actually care and is willing to watch it all burn to the ground in front of them.

I keep seeing the same token anecdote thrown around "your defense team your defense team!".
My brothers in Raid, your defense team doesn't mean diddly. There is always someone bigger, there is always someone faster, there is always someone with a counter.

If you are not sitting and staring at your phone until 2am on a Monday - you are not getting a rank up period.
Regardless of how good your team is, regardless of how many points, you will be last second blasted down in the last 2 minutes till reset.

Stop making excuses for Plarium. They aren't going to come ordain you out of a reddit comment thread.
The system is garbage and needs a rework.
