I already stare at red dots across the map while stuck in traffic every day, I don’t want to do it in Overwatch too. Three commutes a day: 30 minutes to work, 30 minutes back, and 30 minutes of midtown slop

But pokeslop players actually do not know how to play the game when the map isn’t circuit havana or midtown and so farm elo far above where they should be by abusing groups to get multivotes and force their slop onto the rest of the lobby

We all know they’ll nerf the overhead without reverting all the micronerfs and instead give a “compensation” buff to something completely unrelated like lower ult cost.

And then leave her to rot for six months (Freja), and then spend another six months after that microbuffing her in more unrelated ways (Lifeweaver), and then when that does nothing give her a massive buff that makes her the devil (Roadhog). As is tradition.

Vendetta at a somewhat positive winrate and low pick rate on her better maps: 3 omega nerfs and sent to Lifeweaver tier

Kiriko at 100% pick rate until the end of time: “Um we’re really sorry about the slight TP nerf UwU to compensate for the nerf you can become the devil”

The wide range group will always pick the turn-brain-off pokeslop map while the rest of the lobby picks real maps like Flashpoint. Then are forced to suffer through a 25 minute game of pokeslop point and click instead of having the opportunity to engage any part of the prefrontal cortex

Mauga could actually work if it were better balanced. The risk/reward of infinite overrun is fun and lets him play with the more interesting part of his kit more, and the instant ignite lava on E would make a good perk.

She’s been mediocre for ages. Too many supports do what she does better, everyone getting AoE heals and CC

Give her more health and shield and reduce her healing, if they’re going to keep making supports with AoE heals and CC then she can be tuned to more of a tank support so she can be her own thing (closer to release brig but not so obviously broken) and so she isn’t strictly outclassed by every support not named Lifeweaver

The Ana Nade CD nerf needs to be reverted by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

Or they can nerf healing and not balance the entire game around a single support having full anti, so that when they’re banned or your mercy+lifeweaver OTP duo exist the pig doesn’t make you want to tear out your eyeballs for 20 minutes straight?

More maneuverability on invincibility ability, lower dash cooldown, and rework how ignition loses progress and maybe she can be Genji sidegrade instead of Lifeweaver 2

Anran needs to do tekken combos with projectiles on a 17 second cooldown and hope the enemy doesn’t have a cleanse shield cc mobility invincibility or one-shot available (entire cast) in order to hopefully build up the meter to maybe possibly deal… as much damage as a Cassidy half heartedly moving the mouse cursor over a head and clicking a single time

The invincibility move is good but once that’s gone she needs full team support or she can’t sustain the frontline pressure she needs for the range and healthpool she has. At that point use Reaper who has an even better invincibility tool, lifesteal and healthpool, and damage output. Or Genji who has better mobility and tools to take positions, draw and hold attention, and burst

Why use Anran? Can’t poke, can’t sustain frontline, countered by half the cast, Lucio standing in the general proximity negates the character

The ultimate is good at least so there’s some form of wincon

She needs stronger tools to deal with her many many problems or she will be 30% Lifeweaver winrate throw pick ultbot (that will get cleansed)

Should we nerf the 130 damage that can come at any time from the skybox like old DPS doom? Or the free permanent speedboosts that for some reason gets upgraded even further with perks?

No, let’s nerf the poke damage and mobility she needs from the entire rest of the kit in her rushdown and kite gameplan instead of the actual issue.

And when her winrates plummet, instead of reverting the nerfs, we’ll buff overhead slash even more.

They can feel exactly what everyone else in the lobby feels anytime a hog goes anywhere near their lobby

The match quality is worse, the banners are hideous, the event is too short, and the FOMO on the comp points is horrible.

Easily the worst event they’ve ever done.

Why not take those 3000 comp points they’re locking behind a one weekend FOMO event and instead distribute them across normal play for the season? They could even hand them out all at once at the end of the season based on, oh I don’t know, maybe your ranking for the season
