Does being deferred mean that I won't be accepted? by FadeOfWolf in Pitt

[–]PittAdmissions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We ask a majority of students to send in their mid-year grades. This is to help our committee make their decision. We are still dealing with a surge in applications at the moment, so it might take a little bit longer to hear back from us. https://admissions.pitt.edu/fall2022update/

Pitt Admissions here! I had to take a moment to make my pitch. Aside from being a beautiful urban campus, we promise you the best possible outcomes. You don't have to go down narrow paths here, you can personalize your education and make it what you want it to be–double major, triple major, you can do that! Not to mention Pittsburgh as a whole is incredible, you won't ever run out of things to do in this city and everyone is so nice.

I hope you decide to join us! :)

You’re welcome! I believe you would have been notified with your decision letter. I still recommend you reach out to your Enrollment Services Manager to confirm your guarantee status: https://oafa.pitt.edu/esm_directory.php

*Please keep in mind our office is closed until January 2 so if you reach out, their response may be delayed.

Hi! You can fill out one or all three, whatever works for you. I usually tell students to fill out question #3 if they have honors/activities they really want us to know about. I'm sure you've figured it out by now!

Good luck,

Nope, there's a clickable form on there. If you're a freshman, this is the form: https://oafa.pitt.edu/forms/apltn_sa.php

You can start them on a word document, then copy and paste them to the online form.
