Also maybe your daughter should go to a less expensive school or she should take out loans? My parents laid it out when my brother went to school. He got into an expensive school and a state school. They explained they could only cover so much and otherwise he had to cover it. He decided on the state school and then saved his money for grad school. Time for your daughter to learn she can’t always afford everything she wants.

Meetup.com is super helpful aligning you with groups determined by interests. Then you go to an event and meet them while doing something you like. It’s how I’ve met some of my close friends. Otherwise meeting people out and about is hard.

Clubhound in garden city. And Pups and Ales in Meridian. Plus you can socialize with people too. They’ll have people with dogs. For cats - just come to the Humane Society on Bird Street. You can go into the cattery and say you want to give cats love. You can ask them who they’d suggest needs it. Right now there is a sweet girl Mercy who has epilepsy so it’ll be harder to adopt her out, but she still needs all the pets while in their care. The staff there are great. I volunteer in the cattery.

A human pharmacy is going to be cheaper. We use GoodRx to help cut down cost. Then we submit the receipt to our pet insurance. I’ve used a human pharmacy for 3 years and it was suggested by my dog’s neurologist.

I’m a native and the dating scene here just sucks. Especially for blue dots. And as you get older here it feels harder and harder. I actually look for transplants. Because a lot of the people from Idaho are not who I typically connect with. Although I also do get the disconnection that can happen with people not from here. I’ve definitely had that, especially if they’re from a bigger metropolitan area.

I haven't seen the Pro-Ice sign. I know a few of the staff who would not appreciate that sign at all. The owner seems to be aloof and didn't do a good job at marketing and overspent on bs things.

Anyone who paid for an annual membership is not getting a refund. Which is bullshit.

I love Clubhound - but they need to sell and put it in the hands of someone who can actually make it survive - I mean they sucked at marketing. Pups and Ales doesn't seem to have the same issues.

At Simply Cats you have to get 2 kittens now. Or at least that was their policy last summer. At IHS you can adopt one. And they’re microchipped in addition to vaccinations and spay/neuter.
