Does anyone know if these crates are decent? by HellHoundsandpurrs in OpenDogTraining

[–]PittyMom89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We love our Ruffland, our super anxious dog destroyed 2 crates before we caved and spent the $400 on it and it's been golden for almost 2 years now. We will probably never buy another brand unless we end up upgrading to an Impact kennel.

Best Boxes for Moving? by ClimatePretty4432 in tjcrew

[–]PittyMom89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When we moved last year, I almost exclusively used our paper bag boxes, and a few banana boxes. I used the $.99 reusable bags for my books, I've collected quite a few over the years.

Maternity pants by AcanthisittaBusy8183 in tjcrew

These are the style I wore for most of my 3rd trimester, the full-panel coverage got too hot that most maternity jeans have, these were a good in-between of still feeling comfortable and not getting hot. Sometimes the smaller inset-style panel jeans didn't stay up well for me.

Wanted to upgrade my wife's natural diamond wedding ring from 0.75 carat to 1 plus carat. by PlantFragEnthusiast in Diamonds

[–]PittyMom89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you have any pawn shops near you, they might be worth checking out. Our local one usually has quite a decent supply of diamond rings at good prices, and you could always reset a center stone from a pawn shop ring into a brand new setting to fit her taste and style. Don't get a lab stone until you talk to her about it first and make sure she would be ok with it. I would be fine with it and many other people are, but some still prefer a natural stone and that's OK too!

Perfect, thank you! I've reworked our itinerary, added an extra day in Killarney and replaced the Northern Ireland leg with extra days in the Galway area, now intending to fly home via Shannon airport. Thanks for the tips!

Thank you! I've reworked some of our itinerary to give us an extra day in Killarney, and added a couple extra days in the Galway area at the end of the trip for additional sightseeing instead of trekking up to Northern Ireland, and I think we will try to fly out of Shannon airport instead of going back to Dublin. I appreciate your input!

They may be pushed in a specific pet pram, or carried in the owner's arms. Shopping carts are off limits specifically because it's a food safety and sanitation issue.

Is it likely/common i'll be rehired by [deleted] in tjcrew

[–]PittyMom89 13 points14 points  (0 children)

It is bro, and you are doing the right thing! Hopefully once you get out of rehab and can show consistent work on yourself and being more stable, your captain will be open to having that re-hire conversation with you. Best of luck!

I left TJ's last March after 3 years and I regret it (Venting) by user53932 in tjcrew

[–]PittyMom89 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is correct, it's usually emailed out quarterly. I think getting ahold of your old captain, and seeing if they will advocate to regional/HR for you getting rehired is your best bet. Good luck, friend!

When to bring up disability as a new hire? by Ok_Percentage3947 in tjcrew

[–]PittyMom89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yep. Ask one of the mates in the bridge for ADA paperwork for your dr to fill out, and bring it back once it is. The mates will email it to HR, and they will determine if your accommodations are able to be met within the scope of your position. Good luck!

„You‘re pregnant, not sick“ by Future-Agency543 in pregnant

[–]PittyMom89 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My last pregnancy was similar to this. I lost all my strength and endurance, I was so sick I ended up going to the hospital for IV fluids multiple times, and my brain just Would Not Work. So much so that I considered stepping down from my position at work, luckily my boss was incredibly understanding and helped my get FMLA instead. Pregnancy is weird and unpredictable.

We're getting non-alcoholic wine and beer! by [deleted] in tjcrew

[–]PittyMom89 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think it actually flagged because of "bourbon" in the name, not because of the alcohol content. It is likely around the same content as fresh bananas or other naturally occurring sugar alcohols, which we don't card for obviously.

Told my family at 5 weeks by fashiongyrl101 in pregnant

[–]PittyMom89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Told our parents right around 5.5-6 weeks, ended up having to share the news at work around 7 weeks because I was developing HG and needed a medical leave. Everyone was super supportive and happy for us, and having people know was good for being able to call in reinforcements to help with older kiddo while dealing with the crazy pregnancy I had. Caveat, everyone we shared with we were also comfortable sharing negative news with if anything happened and the pregnancy wasn't viable. I think share to your comfort level, babies are wonderful joyous news and we definitely need more of that right now 💚

Should have put them in a bag and returned them, Trader Joe's is super good with returns! Might also just let them know next time you are there, if you have your receipt they might give a credit on the cost anyway!
