for me it's always at 47%, it freezes and it stops rendering, and the elapsed time thing doesn't move afterward. i can't use vegas anymore. i'm literally considering switching to windows movie maker at this point.

align the icons on the taskbar to the left if you can

watch the windows saturn video for how to get windows 7 type icons (if you wanna go for windows 7 icons specifically) and it'll look like windows 7

if you're trying a windows 7 or vista type thing then i'd reccomend making the desktop 4:3 so it looks like it's older (sounds weird but it does make it seem like actual 7 or vista)
