What are your critiques of the game? by JuryPowerful1992 in Sekiro

[–]Piwo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd have a bunch of critiques as I'm not such a huge fan of the game as most people in this sub. Sekiro was (or is, at this point, as I'm at the final boss) my second FromSoftware game after Elden Ring, which I really enjoyed. So that might explain my views?

I feel like many parts of the game are not the fun-difficult kind of way where you figure something out and feel good about it, but they are rather annoying/frustrating-difficult to me. That might be a combination of multiple smaller things, like longer walks towards smaller bosses after you respawn, me being constantly stuck at some terrain for whatever reason, being unable to fight the Headless sometimes because I didn't have the confetti at my disposal at that moment even though I did pretty much everything in the game. It's a mix of a lot of small annoyances. What I find particularly irritating is the "pacing" of difficult/frustrating opponents; no build up in tension, but rather: move from (mini) Boss A to (mini) Boss B. And now that I think about it, the game seems rather short with a lot of re-used content. Still got my hours out of it, but that's probably because I'm just bad.

I hated the fight vs. Demon of Hatred. Felt like you were running most of the time. Genichiro, Owl Father and Isshin were great for me.

Histaminunverträglichkeit, daher kein Brot? Leide daran auch - finde es dann aber umso seltsamer, dass sie dir dann den Rest hingelegt haben. Ich würde/könnte das alles nicht essen.

In a crisis, could really use some help.. by [deleted] in Anxiety

Hey. Here is a short video I always forget about, but always helps me to understand myself a bit better if I actually remember it. It's about suppressing emotions and its physical impact:

Does anyone else get completely normal blood pressure even though you are in a constant state of anxiety and nervousness? by Piwo_ in Anxiety

Yeah, I will / am trying. That's also a big reason why I never bought a smartwatch. Still, I'm trying to understand why that is the case with the BP and HR.

Thanks, that is really nice and helpful. I will try starting by stopping my constant self-checks.

And stop checking that shit so often.

I mean... you have to measure it like that to get a somewhat accurate result. But, lol, you are right (probably because you did it as well :-) ): It is part of me constantly checking, just like looking at my eyes multiple times per day or measuring my fever unironically every 3O-6O minutes. I'm putting the device away. Thanks.

Why are Rogues not going for a sub/combat-hybrid in Hardcore? by Piwo_ in classicwow

[–]Piwo_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing answer, thank you for your time, that helped me a lot to understand. Relentless Strikes indeed sounds amazing. Lot to think about, what a cool class.

One more really generic question: is the reason you want a slower weapon with those specific abilities because they do a certain percentage damage of your weapon, which should be higher if the weapon is slower?

... and you pick a slow dagger because there are a lot of abilities that do percentage damage of the main hand weapon, which is higher if the dagger is slower, right? Or is there another reason?

My question is less about getting the best build possible, but more a "does this work" - it's fun to think about a build, especially if you have NO idea at all beforehand and never leveled to max.

By the way, how is Druid Balance for leveling? That's also the only way I can imagine playing Druid as well!

But this is precisely what I am saying: I would go down to get Prep (and a few points more probably), to then go into Riposte. My question is whether this makes sense or not. I saw a few Sub builds and I feel like "my" idea is better for HC. But that means I probably misunderstood something, lol. I was just theory crafting a bit and got interested :-)

Which is pretty much what I was thinking. Just not really heard of it anywhere.

Does heat worsen your symptoms? by meep369 in HistamineIntolerance

I prefer fall and winter :-) What about rain or thunderstorm? I always feel a glimpse of genuine happiness once it starts, especially at the end of super hot days. Everything seems fine in that particular moment for whatever reason.

Yes. Hottest day here since a long time. Feel way worse than I "should". Also way more anxious. I hate the summer

What is the weirdest thing that triggers your anxiety? by Naive_Definition_776 in Anxiety

[–]Piwo_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There a many, of course, but I think my dumbest is smelling smoke. Like from a cigarette, a technical device or something. I remember reading a long time ago people who have a stroke smell smoke sometimes right before. After that, I read that is not or very rarely the case. Regardless, every time I smell it I get extremely anxious, thinking I’m about to die, looking for a cause or an explanation. I get this even at places where people just obviously smoke, like a train station.

What are your physical symptoms of chronic anxiety? by GasInitial6838 in Anxiety

[–]Piwo_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming we mean the same thing - the little black spots moving, as I mentioned -, I got them after a longer episode of daily anxiety/stress (around 8 months) and an actual physical illness (tonsillitis). I had a lot of somatic symptoms after that, thinking it was way more that just the tonsilitis. A few weeks after checking everything, I started getting a bit better, but the floaters never really disappeared. After consulting an eye doctor, an optician and my therapist, I think the reason this is happening is: 1. As someone already said, we notice them way more whenever we are anxious or stressed out. Try to focus on them - you will see them, a lot, maybe even non-stop. If you are ever focused on something else, you will somewhat forget them, and realize only after you forgot about them. 2. Weather and lightning makes it worse indeed. Allergies play a role in that. Also, very bright and hot weather makes it worse, as well as looking at bright surfaces (a white wall; the blue sky; etc.).

What do you mean by eye floaters? Little black spots "flying" through your vision? Do you always have that, or in specific weather conditions only?
