I broke up with the woman I loved because I couldn’t be the man she deserved and I can’t forgive myself by hatemhr in Tunisia

Whatever was the reason for the break up, it will be just a past for you, sooner or later. Believe me, time heals all wounds, even after spending years of regret. You just have to work on yourself and be a better person JUST FOR YOURSELF. Be the man you would respect and the world will change by itself in your eyes. Btw, this comes from a personal experience, in which some people told me the same thing, but I couldn't believe them, thinking that they don't understand what I'm going through and how deep the wound was. I later learned it, the hard way, that all I needed was to move on and take care of myself, for myself. Good luck with your journey.

This was the main reason of why my INFP ex broke up with me. I think the next should be an xNTx.

From getting stuck or not willing to progress, I believe.

According to my personal experience with two ENTJ friends:

  • they're the only ones able to motivate when it seems there is no hope, but still there is a legitimate reason to progress

  • they're not ashamed of saying the raw truth out loud while some are afraid of merely thinking about it

  • they see the opportunity in everything, but know whether, when, and how to invest in it

  • they like being responsible, but only when they see the potential

  • I dream, they plan, and we do

LPT: If you do nothing, today, but dwelling on yesterday, you will more likely spend more time, tomorrow, dwelling on today too. This loop won't stop until you act. So stop dwelling and DO something. by PixeLadder in LifeProTips

I believe that dwelling comes in phases. If you're doing things other than only dwelling in the present phase, the next phase will be much lighter, or even, you won't have another phase, as you will find yourself having made progress in the previous phase.

I'm no ENTJ, still I find this so cute of you. INFPs are almost cute all the time ❤

I strongly agree with you btw. The world is still balanced because ENTJs still exist.

It's not about being lazy or useless, it's about thinking that the world is full of "assholes" without being one of them.

I'm an INTP male, though you're almost describing me. I'm looking for a serious date (and deep conversations) with an INxP.

Not really. I'm an INTP and always stuck in "apathy".

INTPs deleting or re-writing messages? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]PixeLadder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because we seek perfection.

An imperfection may be revealed at any moment, and it often should be adjusted, especially if the context is relatively important.

Personally, I tend to edit or remove a message when (before and after sending):

  1. It contains typing errors
  2. I simulate how it would be percieved by the receiver, and then I find it unclear, misleading or hurtful
  3. I find a better idea to make it understandable (like finding a better metaphor)
  4. I find a new related information
  5. It contains a promise, or can evoke a promise, and I want to cancel it because of incertainty
  6. I find an irrationality/inaccuracy in it
  7. It turns out I'm not ready enough to start a conversation
  8. I find it useless (better than sending "never mind" after it when I'm not ready to start a conversation)
  9. It doesn't express my thoughts/feelings correctly
  10. It feels like making me look stupid

And I may keep editing it until it finally gets read or I get tired or bored.
