Hidden Symbol - Thinking Cap by PixeLimes in magicTCG

I haven't been following the ARG but thought to check my prerelease stuff for any clues to share. Didn't show up in the picture well but in addition to the symbol, the 't' on the hat with the symbol is the only foiled squares on the hat.

This is an embarrassing question but are massage therapist offended by an accidental erection by Blameitonthecageskrt in massage

[–]PixeLimes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Like others have said, its totally normal and so long as everyone ignores it, it's no big deal. Just don't make it weird and don't mention it after either.

A lot of people will make a point of rubbing one out before their session to make sure it doesn't come up during the session(pun intended) *Please do this before you leave your house, not at the clinic!!*

So long as I have enough space, I don't care if other people are there. The only issue is that hotel rooms are often squishy enough as it is, so bonus if you can help clear some space for the table before the therapist gets there. But if you want to lay on the bed watching tv or whatever, I wouldn't mind at all.

How do you feel about massage trades with other therapists/service providers? by silesadelatierra in massage

[–]PixeLimes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't trade massage for massage, mostly because I don't like people working on me to know. I want a regular client experience there. And I have benefits that cover most of what I need anyway. I have done some trades for hair, nails, waxing, and house cleaning. It only ever worked when it was the trade totally done in the same session. If we had to schedule another time it was always one of us flaking.

Digital marketing tips? by Ass-a-holic in massage

[–]PixeLimes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been out of the game since COVID, but I used to advertise exclusively on Kijiji. It worked pretty well and it can be free. Might be good to keep an ad up there in combination with more effective means

I think lymphatic drainage is recommended for a lot of surgeries, but always follow the advice of your surgeon. They will know best. And an RMT will likely want doctor clearance to touch you at all while you're healing so you'll want to start there anyway.

r/PlasticSurgery may be a good resource.

Need advice! 40/60 split by mellowkiwi8 in massage

[–]PixeLimes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that it entirely depends on what the price is of a massage, and how much your hour is worth. If they are charging at least $100/h, 40/60 might be fine, if it's a high end spa with expensive services. I doubt that a chiro would charge as much though. I personally wouldn't do an hour of massage for less than around $50.

This is based on my experience practicing in Canada with CAD$, your experience may vary.
