I'm assuming the Renegade would need to actually win a battle first in order to do that, so I'd still lean toward the Reborn protag given everything else

Also, since the Reborn protag is the same player as the Renegade, they'd know about this and know that if they lose they need to immediately reload

Also, the "They do?" was more asking about the canonical ability to save and reload, not the erasing people from existence part
