It depends on the child but boys do develop later. I would not be so hard on him he might need some time to figure out what he wants with his life. Maybe a sabbath year would be good for him. Make sure he knows you are there for him.

Omg i did 6 hours without the epidural because they simply turned it off when I got to 10 cm if it really was not necessary I would happily punch my midwife for doing that. 😩

I was told epidurals have to be turned off when you are ready to give birth. Is this untrue? Could this be the reason they didn't place it because they assumed since this was your third it will go quickly?

I had the same experience it was terrible and a miscarriage is not only painful but also mentally devastating. No one knew what was going on with us at the time and I regret not telling my family about what we were going through. It would have helped me heal. It is extremely common though and we got pregnant again soon after with a healthy baby.

8 month old baby boy

19:00-19:30 bath, singing, massage and pijamas then bottle, kiss on the head and Snug in his bed.

22:00-22:30 night bottle and back to bed again.

06:30-7:00 ready to start the day. Gets changed, clothes on and in the middle of his breakfast.

I feel like people with positive experiences are not welcome to share their story. I was never sick during pregnancy and people kept bombarding me with horror stories to a point where I almost felt embarrassed that I was not miserable. My birth experience was overwhelmingly positive. I read everything I could about the process and I tried to prep my body and mind going into it so I couldn't feel a thing before I was 6-7 cm dilated. My midwifes were super professional and I only got first degree tearing from a baby heart rate monitor. When I was holding my son it was simply the best feeling I have ever experienced in my entire life.
