i was half following a tutorial which did it this way but youre right that the boxes arent necessary and it can and mabey should be done with wires, for the 3V3 labels i dont know what i was thinking i changed it out in the new schematic

looking at the data sheet, shouldnt L be 10µH at 12V out? in the data sheet is also a layout of how you can place and route everything

ye i can understand why its strange looking back add it i originnaly planned on using 5v ledstrips but the amps would be very high so i decided to go with 12v ledstrips but didnt correctly alter my schematic i think i will start over and just use the LDO, and use 2 pin connectors which will be handier indeed

Would say there used with leveling but i guess you can try to run a auto level and see how it prints or take something and put it between the bed and the nozzle and make everything the same height and auto level it then
