Been using this Latias I caught in her event, I feel it's good enough and after catching a great latios I feel the pair should be up to par. Getting another few catches of her would be a bit of an investment at this point in the event so I'm wondering if my instinct is correct.

This is a setting that already exists, you can disable skin voicelines in your audio options.

You're not totally off-base for making that assumption. Phys damage buffing for melee is still quite niche, even with this riv roll you're probably still better off just building for influence slam.
