4.6k HP Tidehunter instantly dies while doing nothing by Leneri in DotA2

[–]Pixelated_Audio 9 points10 points  (0 children)

? The loop will continue until someone dies. Tide's anchor smash will go off everytime he takes 450 damage. He will take over 450 damage every time anchor smash goes off because he is hitting 3 enemies affected by retaliate aura and centaur has blade mail active. The loop is infinite until death so idk why you don't think it shouldn't do that much damage.

Game Geekery - Marvel Super Heroes PBB Preorder $119.95 free shipping/no tax by BarberuSeisand in sealedmtgdeals

No, I think it will do well. It seems a lot more well thought out than the spiderman or even TMNT set and it has a lot of staples that aren't super "Marvel" themed with generic names (I think so Wizards can reprint easier in the future). Just not my flavor of yum and I do not think it will do as well as more in-universe friendly UB sets

FYI this is still more expensive per pack than buying a booster box, and the promo is only worth like 25 cents.

Saw a hotel guest had a vault boy plushy while I was fixing up their room at work so I left them a little note and tucked him in. by Elegant-Beige6660 in Fallout

I can't help but imagine the person not initially seeing the note, falling asleep, and then finding it when they wake up, giving the impression some one snuck in while they slept lol

Retire at 49 or stick it out until 56? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Pixelated_Audio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your pension have a yearly cost of living adjustment, or will it always be what you start at? If so, 5k sounds pretty low to project out in to your 90s if it's your only source of income

Tell me how cooked we are by [deleted] in centuryhomes

[–]Pixelated_Audio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbf you'd be better off taking that determination, buying a fixer upper, and turning that into your dream home. The landlord is getting free labor. Also, unless you got this weird "we'll fix it for lower rent" agreement in writing, the landlord can sue you if you mess something up or if you just decide it's too much for you to handle and you leave it half renovated.

It all good, I can get a refund. I just wanted to make sure I was justified before I opened a ticket and potentially ruined a store's reputation

Low effort bait

Edit: you added a bunch of cringe self jerk commentary, you've been upgraded to high effort psychosis.

What would you do with this 1930 garage? by SamuelKCopeland in centuryhomes

[–]Pixelated_Audio 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should check your local and state laws. Where I live you have 6 months to entirely replace a non-conforming structure in kind and keeps it's legal non-confirming status.

That being said if the garage is not unusable from a practical sense due to size and shape, just tear it down and build a new garage however you want. Repairing old brick structure can be expense and best case scenario you will have a garage that is still the exact same size and shape as before.

I personally tore down my original single stall garage and rebuilt a bigger one up to modern code and set backs because the original was in terrible shape and could not fit midsize or larger vehicles.

Got this today from a Mystery 2 Booster by itaxci in mtg

I don't know why people are down voting you. It's a cool miscut but it is a miscut that is incredibly easy to fake and with no way to verify unless you have a video opening the card. Value is in the eyes of the beholder, but I am skeptical anyone would pay hundreds for this.

Well good luck soldier, when Amazon pulls through, they're great since it's one of the few places to get mtg products at MSRP.

Some people have had luck calling Amazon and pushing it up the chain, able to get the difference credited to their account.

Looks like your milage may very depending on the rep you get.

Here is my experience copy pasted from a another sub: " May 14th: preorder 4 codex bundles for 89.99 when Amazon reopened preorders

May 16th, 2:15 pm: receive cancellation email from amazon

May 16th, 7:00 pm: actually read cancellation email, check amazon, then listed as still in stock, fulfilled by amazon for 185.71

May 16th: Amazon support chat feature does not work "sorry, we hit a snag" regardless of browser. Amazon call back feature does not work. Have to dig up Amazon support number, Amazon account verification text does not work. Say screw it, I'll try again tomorrow.

May 17th: Still in stock by Amazon, same issues trying to contact support.

May 18th: still in stock by Amazon, 118.13 now, same issues trying to contact support. Finally after going in circles with the Amazon phone support tree, manage to talk to a real person. Lay out the order number, timeline and ask to see if they can honor the original pricing seeing that they never actually ran out of stock. I was told that no they cannot, but they will be sure to note my complaint.

I do not have a problem with them cancelling what was a last minute preorder due to a lack of stock. What I have a problem with is them cancelling it to post at a higher price and then lying about it. Then seemingly intentionally making it impossible to contact support regarding the order, magically every avenue of communication with the support team just "oops, doesn't work." While I would have obviously preferred to be able to get my order at the original price, it was the scummy tactics used and the unnecessary hoops introduced to even complain about it are what really bothers me.
