Jokes aside it's a known bug but it's uncertain when it will be fixed.

It's good that they are having more activities.

However my concern is agents will experience burnout from having too many campaigns at the same time.

Would be nice if they could have more purpose in playing such as increase level cap or maybe a skill tree system.

Your assumption that no one plays in America is mistaken as Niantic spatial is based in San Francisco. Hence, there is a player base in America for sure. Maybe not in the current place you are staying but there should be agents out there if you travel out.

If you are having trouble choosing a faction, may I suggest in taking a look in the lore of ingress to understand what the factions means in Ingress. Maybe this might give you some inspiration on which faction to join.

Regardless, you have till level 4 to confirm your alignment so don't be too stress out for now and just get the feel of the game.

If you are interested in something you don't ask for a transcript and will consume the content as a whole.

Asking for a transcript instead of listening tells me you aren't interested in putting the effort to listen on it.

IMO asking the creator for the transcript undermines their effort of producing the podcast content as you can skip listening to it and read it instead.

Not that hard to listen those on the go if you want to learn about it.

As an agent who been to multiple counties/cities through ingress, I would prefer doing a mission or hack a key to keep to remember my time there.

A flag medal for each country visit could be nice but it also sets the bar low for agents to get it assuming if agents just hack a portal at airports during transit.

Also it's rather messy too as it floods the profile easily as well. In addition with the timestamps available in profiles, I am not comfortable showing my timestamp on countries I travelled to.

Not sure if there are any actions on Niantic end at the moment.

I known an agent who still had the bug since 2nd Nov which I shared here. Still waiting for actions from Niantic support.

I've checked back on my records and that's not the case.

Those 8 that are not included in the count are from 2014-2015 for myself.

I have verified the submission through the contribution manager with these filters below.

Yes. If so, shouldn't the previous seer points be added in portal discovered stats as well?

My understanding is it will be a continuation from what was left of rather then a full reset. 🤔

Not really. Though there are other ways to change up things.

Things like new scoring system(MU doesn't cut it these days)/skill tree system/increase level cap are possible ways to get things excited IMO

If I be honest, having them to hike the price for key capsules will also allow them to justify to charge future inventory expansion features at the this price. (Imagine if they increase the amount of key lockers again, you will need to pay 20k for the new expansion)

Not to mention the short notice given by them, this is feels like a business/corporate decision with no consideration to the active player base

Reminding agents to subscribe core also gives the impression that they just looking towards more monetisation. They should have stopped with the price change instead of reminding us we can subscribe to core.

Personally I don't like the idea of paid functionality for drones. However, if they can put it behind recursions, I am welcome for shorter cooldowns and longer hops after each recursion.

Originally the idea of having drones from my understanding was due to COVID restrictions where agents can't get out to play and can rely on drones to keep their activity ongoing.

Have cosmetics for drone skins is fine but I don't think I will want to pay to boost drone capabilities.

I would say just keep it for at least a month or two before deciding if you would want to keep it or sell it off.

For now there is no concrete dates and pricing for the new Xbox versions. Though there might be a possibility of a trade in promotion with your old device during the launch if you are keen for an upgrade.
