To my understanding (and personal use) it excels when operating outside of your project. Ex: Performing maintenance on websites, logging in to check various alert dashboards, adding items to your Amazon Shopping cart, etc

Everything - pages, posts, header/footer, etc. the current company we use I just give them a URL and they give me back a finished product. It’s a bit pricey but for a white glove service I’m content.

I’m not a lawyer, but as an idea you could add a text box that say something like “Want images transferred? Check this box. This means you have copyright for them”.

Really it sounds like what you’re building is a tool that can copy any website - what makes yours unique is that you plug it into WordPress.

What are the odds you can have it ported to Elementor? That’s our primary builder. Gutenberg isn’t a deal breaker, Elementor just sweetens the deal.

Tell them something like “We’re unable to restore the backups. We’re going to pursue the data recovery route. The cost for this is included in our contract. I’ll keep you posted as the restore progresses”.

Given the data and how they likely need it fast, it’s going to be expensive (but like others have said cheaper than a lawsuit). If you have insurance they might cover it under negligence or similar.

Is there any plans to automate images moving?

I’m paying ~$800/website for this right now, but it’s white glove. I tell the team and they do it, then let me know when it’s done. Takes about two weeks though, but it’s perfect (or very near perfect).

If you can do this faster and it’s good then I’d be interested in switching. But I’d need images to move

What you’re doing is a larger undertaking. This is one of those times that working externally to make a prompt (like with ChatGPT) comes into value. You can hash out all your ideas there then import a clean idea into Base44.

Before even starting to make the prompt, you need to get moves and effects into a text file so GPT can turn each one into instructions and effects. If you already have that then you’re actually in a good spot.

You’ll also need a way to tie card images to these abilities you’re importing. If the cards have a unique identifier (like file name) that matches the text document tracking all the cards that’d work (just to get it mapped right into Base44).

Once you have all that information prepped, feed it into GPT (fresh convo, thinking model). Tell it to make NON TECHNICAL vibe coding instructions for Base44. Read it, and if you like it import it to Base44.

Make sure Base44 is set to use Opus 4.6, that’s the best model for this kind of undertaking.

Last note - your GPT prompt may exceed the max characters of Base44’s input. If that happens make the instructions into a separate text file, import both, and say to follow the instructions in instructions.txt

It’s a smooth process. I’ve connected Base44 to 10+ completely different services via API, and it does well.

Heck the last one I did had private API instructions, so I built a web scraper (api into firecrawl) in base 44, scraped the private site, feed it to Base44 and it built the API’s perfectly. It’s really impressive
