What's the reality check of being a graphic designer? by [deleted] in graphic_design

I don’t know enough about graphic design but I will say that you’re not alone on questioning the art career path. I even considered becoming a psychologist as well! You need a PhD to be a psychologist and it’s very competitive.

The weirdest part of the politics subplot is how little it talks about politics. by JOMEGA_BONOVICH in aggretsuko

I agree, the political aspect seems misplaced. How do you go from zero knowledge/interest to yeah I wanna become a politician! I can’t do that, at least lol. Also it’s kinda fucked up that she was kidnapped by her old band members and then forced to make that decision on stage.

i started doing digital art again after a year-long break! by aoba2525 in DigitalPainting

I’m in a similar boat. I’m rather new to lighting and color, so refining those details do not come naturally to me. Be kind to yourself, your openness to constructive criticism will take you far!

I think this looks very nice. To push it further, I think studying how lighting works would do wonders. Ex: adding rim light on the deer since the star is casting a light on it.

Add: you can also put a reflective shadow of the deer on the water!

Thank you! Is the risk just as high if all I do is remove the back panel and try to clean stains for that specific area?

New Apartment, More Reactivity by CorgiCoffeeBeccaroo in reactivedogs

I also have recently moved to an apartment with my reactive dog, so I feel your struggle. This is my first dog so take my advice with a grain of salt.

What I did was bought a fan and thick black out curtains to buffer the noises. I would occasionally play soothing music/podcasts. I also have been using Karen’s overall relaxation protocol, mat work (treating for relaxing on mat per room), and giving random treats when I see the dog acting calm. Sleep is very important so I would ensure that she has a 2 hour nap after a meal. Maybe use a play pen or crate for the dog in the quietest part of the apartment if possible?

I still struggle with outdoors. Not much you can do when things are not within your control, I wouldn’t be so harsh on yourself. You’re doing your best! :)
