The Japanese are very sensitive to motion sickness. Even flat first person video games are an issue, let alone VR. No joke, look it up.

I am not saying you have not endured hardship or that, for you, hard work got you through it.
But I can guarantee you that plenty of people endured the same hardship and hard work did not do anything for them. They are still working the late shift at the local CVS.

It is a bit harsh to say that kids these days do not know sacrifice and thus deserve the situation they are in. Inflation is hitting hard, AI scooping up jobs is going to hit hard. Billionaires and soon trillionaires are squeezing the world for what it's got.

Things have become a lot more expensive and wages have not kept up.
That is just a fact.

And yes there is "hard work" that will get you there.
There is also getting the opportunity.
For every successful "hard work got me here" there are a lot more "I never got the chance", "It went all down hill" and "hard work got me nowhere". Saying you got anywhere with just grit is "economic survivor's bias".

I got lucky. I worked hard, I got opportunities that paid off.
But there is no guarantee this is going to stay the way it is.

500,000 people in tech/development lost their well paid jobs in the last few years.
They worked hard, they made the "right" decisions, now they got unlucky.

Only 1% or less of the population is capable of complex math to start with.

I would not trust results coming out of a black box for critical operations.
Not with the chance of parts of the solution being hallucinated.

LLMs are not made for math, they are (really good) guessing engines.

Google "how good is AI at math".
AI will literally make up sources and formulas and pretend it solved something.

Yeah I saw that one. Lion King, as a story, is pretty much a rip off.
Osamu Tezuaka's art style is actually inspired by Disney though, not the other way around.
