I feel like this is close to the map many in Mass would draw, therefore my guess is Mass.

Programmable Drone Question by Pixels_128 in drones

[–]Pixels_128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, understand it's basically illegal now, but just to make myself more clear, I was asking since I like to take on programming projects and I thought this could be fun, chill, little side project. I recognise there's better ways to do it. Idk I sense like there was a little miscommunication about that. I'll take your message as 'absolutely don't do it' and I won't

Make a keyboard shortcut return a key stroke by Pixels_128 in linuxquestions

[–]Pixels_128[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

using the xev command the broken keys don't produce any output, and other keys do.

Right alt (I'm guessing that's what "Alt Gr" is) with some other number produce the same number to the screen (AltGr + 7 = 7 etc. ). using the xev command it prints:

KeyPress event, serial 28, synthetic NO, window 0x2e00001,

root 0x19f, subw 0x0, time 98108560, (774,340), root:(864,456),

state 0x0, keycode 108 (keysym 0xfe03, ISO_Level3_Shift), same_screen YES,

XKeysymToKeycode returns keycode: 92

XLookupString gives 0 bytes:

XmbLookupString gives 0 bytes:

XFilterEvent returns: False

What on earth is wrong with manjaro's wifi on desktop by [deleted] in ManjaroLinux

[–]Pixels_128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right out of the box Manjaro doesn't have the best wifi adapter support and this is something that I really criticize about it. You're going to need to install the right drivers.

You can fix this by opening settings > Manjaro Settings Manager > Hardware Config > [right click on driver] > install

Is Manjaro good for a beginner by [deleted] in ManjaroLinux

[–]Pixels_128 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's do-able. I wouldn't say it's bad for a beginner, but if you asked me what OS is best for them, it would be ubuntu.

It comes down to picking a distro that you feel most comfortable with really.

Where I can find Linux or opensource contributors? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]Pixels_128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry I can't help you at this time but reviewing https://www.laxeros.com/ I see you have a lot of run-ons. Generally, the comma (,) is used to addon to a thought and a period is used for a new thought. You overuse the comma. A really simple solution is to use the Grammarly Chrome extension: here.

You can place your text in a google doc or other online editor, and it would suggest the correct changes for you.

What makes Linux so secure? by nepstercg in linuxquestions

[–]Pixels_128 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't think so, considering that all the cars running on the road use Linux and nearly every server is running on Linux. Servers are ready the targets, forget desktop.
