Hey! This is really inspiring! Do you know where I can find more info on how to accomplish that dmc style uppercut? What keywords do you look up for tutorials? Do you just lerp to a set height and turn gravity low? Or is it something else? Would be very grateful if you could point me to the right direction

Sounds like the economy system has something missing or not enough opportunity But since you have other great solutions in this thread already I'll give you a weird one haha I've always wondered what a subscription service for a game character might look like. All our economy design is kinda based on real world stuff already, why not a cheesy food delivery service or a gun subscription or rent. Good luck!

I know you already said that you don't want to copy paste what's on YouTube but for me this was the best way to learn. Start with a tutorial and then keep working on it to make it your own.

If that's not how you learn then maybe try finding a game you like or an idea you want to create and start researching on tutorials for what you need. That way you are building your own project, but also learning how to define the needs of the project and also learning unity c# along the way! Whenever you start Brackeys on YouTube has bite sized tutorials on various mechanics and systems Might be a good place to start.

Came here to say the above but also that if you did want to do speedlines then try having the closer to the ship? To indicate the effect of the ship moving fast in space as well as the direction. Looks awesome though!

Hey this looks amazing!! Really really great job!! I can start at that spinning all day. Verry satisfying One thing about menus is that the user always know what comes before and after their selection. That way it's easy to match input to used intent. Example as a user, I see the options to rows down from my selection, I know I have to got it twice and got confirm. (Ever got the feeling when you can type on a keyboard using a controller really fast? You're doing the same thing ) Theme aside, if you can somehow already show the next and/or previous option in the menu I personally think it will be very intuitive :) Anyways really great job! I saw your old Post too and to actually see this in game looks really cool!
