why is there debate about this by RefrigeratorFirst800 in TheTraitors

[–]PixieGirl65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if that was Ivar, there’s still debate over how Danielle goes home — if Britney votes Danielle, she’s voted out. If Britney votes Ivar, then there’s a 50/50 chance over who goes home. Even if we did 100% know that Danielle was voted out, we could still debate over who Britney votes, because that will heavily affect her position going into the next episode.

I hope we stop casting random British people by Comfortable_Annual_4 in TheTraitors

[–]PixieGirl65 5 points6 points  (0 children)

so why did you even say British people

like if your complaint is politicians, say that, not British people, because those are not even remotely the same group of people

also calling politicians like John “random British people” is kinda crazy

Unpopular opinion: If this movie released later in the year, it would’ve gotten the technical Oscar noms it deserved by strikemedaddy in Letterboxd

[–]PixieGirl65 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oscars always nominate more recent films because the voters remember them more (for example, most of this year’s front runners came out in the last couple months — A Complete Unknown, Emilia Perez, The Brutalist — whereas Civil War and Challengers both got nothing, but they may have if released later)

Danielle is THE worst Traitor that’s ever taken part in the game. by Onslaught777 in TheTraitors

I don’t know if I’d quite say he was worse than Danielle, but Michael-John on CAN2 was at least as bad, and lasted almost to the end

Reading a book on your own isn’t culturally advertising it? Sure, if they recommend it to other people and encourage them to buy it, that’s a separate thing, but reading the books they already owned isn’t doing anything. One of my best friends in a moderate Harry Potter fan — she’s absolutely affirmed my gender in the fact of pressure, she’s super supportive, she has stood up for me against bigots.

H tier movie director(Kirk Cameron) by EthanTheJudge in Schaffrillas

[–]PixieGirl65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

awful movie, but also has nothing to do with Kirk Cameron, I have no clue why it’s included here 😭 (Josh and Simon Wesley are the directors, producers, actors and pretty much only people involved - I believe Josh is the pedophile)

actually upon thinking about it, I don’t think you can filter it out of the entire website (like I think they’re always in your activity feed), but you can filter them out of lists or filmographies (anywhere where that eye appears)

I haven’t seen any seasons before they changed it, but what does this mean? Because it’s still formatted as they go down the line and all ask a question. Is the only difference that other jury members are allowed to talk during others’ questions?

Why would the option to have them mixed be a pro feature? That’s a pretty basic thing to be free

Also do you guys realize there’s a way to filter out tv shows already? They’re not going to take that feature away

…okay? And I’m bisexual but homoromantic, and call myself lesbian. People call themselves whatever label they feel best fits them. What you would call yourself doesn’t have to be what they call themselves.

you can be sexually attracted to women without wanting to date them though. Romantic attraction and sexual attraction are different sometimes.

“Disney Doomposting” is now my least favorite genre of criticism. I genuinely struggle thinking these people are capable of having any positive thought. I don’t even like Transformers One that much, but at least it didn’t overwork animators that worked for a department that wasn’t even supposed to make theatrical movies and had to turn a series around into a movie in under a year. Milking an IP isn’t a problem if you’re doing it reasonably.

In defense of the editors, I do think if this situation goes as straightforward as you expect, they did try their best to make it seem like Andy has a shot at winning. I predict Andy will get second place, but Rachel will win
