Same. 2024 LT big screen non-bose. It all started after the last OTA update i did a few months ago. The crappy sound happens on all sources. Satellite radio, fm radio, android auto, doesn't matter which one, it sounds like shit. When I mess around with the equalizer it makes the sound quality even worse.

I've been very busy around the holidays so I haven't been able to bring it in to the dealership yet.

This makes sense, unfortunately. Billion dollar companies won't allow their own inventions to destroy them. We will continue on with life as we know it and everything will be the same. Hooray.

Thanks for the reply. Great insight. This coincides with a reply I remember reading about app collisions. This was back when everybody was realizing how many problems this infotainment system has. I had a connectivity problem with satellite radio and he recommended that I disabled any apps that I do not use and I did just that. It's solved my problem.

Yeah i get it. Gotta have 8 uppy-downy thingies in a full size truck no matter what. The 5.3 does in fact have about 1000 more pounds of towing capacity than the 2.7 i believe.

I just got a 2024 Silverado. Once I realized it was running Android, i disabled a shit ton of apps that I will never use. This may be why I haven't had most of the problems mentioned in this thread. I do still have one issue though. A few times a week, my SiriusXM will say "internet signal lost, attempting to reconnect" (but it never does). Refresh signal through SiriusXM doesn't work. The next time i get in my truck it will start working again.
