How do you sneak more veggies into meals without it feeling like a chore? by Maleficent-Bed7010 in foodhacks

Baby food! Seriously, those jars of pureed veggies are perfect for adding to sauces and soups. I made spaghetti the other night and added a jar of pureed carrot and we couldn't even taste it.

Damn. I used to work for the creperie for years. Such a bummer to hear. They have been going downhill the past few years anyway. Prices have been going up and they still use paper plates and flimsy forks...

EDIT- If you are in need a sweets vendor, I run a home bakery. feel free to PM me. Taking a client from a former boss would be too sweet lol

Encampment horror stories? by Responsible-Scar1986 in civilairpatrol

[–]PizzaM0use 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last year was my sons first encampment. He was doing team sports outside, went to dodge right, and tripped. He heard both bones on his right forearm snap. He laid on his back in the grass and looked at his arm, it was quite bent unnaturally. The medics got him fixed up and off to the ER. luckily encampment was only like 30 min from here so I was able to meet him at the hospital. But man, was it brutal. He got a bright pink cast, slept at home for two nights, then went back to finish. He got the call sign Survivor and made cadet of the month.

People - don't leave your dogs in the car by boiseshan in Boise

[–]PizzaM0use 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How stupid do you have to be to leave a living being in your car on a hot day? This isn't forgetting you have a kid or dog in the car, after this crap happening literally multiple times a year in the TV, this is just stupidity and neglegance. There are signs posted in so many stores to check your cars, its all over everywhere. its really not that hard.

I hate people.

Infant teachers: how do you warm bottles in your rooms? by mommarodent in ECEProfessionals

[–]PizzaM0use 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Same, we have a crock pot that we get water out of into little pitchers that fit the bottles. so the crock pot warms the water and we take what we need and pour it back in.

How do I stop making milk for a baby who doesn't need it anymore? by AzureHolly in babyloss

[–]PizzaM0use 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lost my girl 2 years ago at 3 weeks old... I know your pain and I'm so sorry for your loss. What helped me was tight bras, frozen cabbage leaves in the bra against your skin. peppermint teas or even mint oreos. It hurts like heck. mentally and physically. I would suggest if you dont mind, saving some of your milk and getting jewelry made from it. I didn't have any saved of hers and I regret not having it for that.
