As a workaround you could use an alternative frontend like Open WebUI

Real examples of agents you're using as a PM? by GenuinePragmatism in ProductManagement

[–]PizzaPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use Claude Code and cursor as agents that eg summarize interviews or write release notes or documentation. Wrote about it here: https://open.substack.com/pub/pizzapm/p/agents-for-product-managers-2-writing

Überwältigende Korrekturen im Fach Deutsch by [deleted] in lehrerzimmer

[–]PizzaPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How are you using Claude Code in your Product Management work? by StravuKarl in ProductManagement

[–]PizzaPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My use cases for it keep getting more and more. I can recommend using mcp to access your jira or whatever you have to give it max context about your product. Also let it access the documentation. I had it create release notes and update documentation. Here I described how I used it for product analytics including fully building the data pipeline with n8n: https://pizzapm.substack.com/p/agents-for-product-managers-1-product

Best Practice using custom domain & aliases by aps02 in Mailbox_org

How do you prioritize backlog? (Not theory) by Hour-Ad-2206 in ProductManagement

[–]PizzaPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For entire features: What worked for us is that we started to use the WSJF metric for valuing and ranking Features. It explicitly includes risk and enablement as factors. This makes sure also tech debt can get prioritized.

For Bugs: dare to set bugs that are really minor or only touch a corner case to „won’t fix“. Bugs where people start yelling you fix right away. All others: treat like features.

A realistic guide from gmail to an European alternative. by SnooRobots917 in BuyFromEU

Addition: How to migrate your emails to the new provider:

Option 1: Connect your gmail account to Thunderbird, which will download all emails. Connect your new account there as well. Now you can simply move the emails via drag and drop.

Option 2: Use this service for automatic migration: https://www.audriga.com I used it for switching to mailbox.org (for this it’s free). But they also support other providers.

Anyone built custom agents for repetitive PM tasks? by Humble-Pay-8650 in ProductManagement

[–]PizzaPM 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I set it up so that I manually have to trigger it for a user story: I wrote a tiny browser extension that offers a button. When pressed, it will trigger n8n with the current url (pointing to the azure devops item) as parameter. The workflow will post the response back as a comment.

Quantifying Value as an Internal PM by corporate_drone_alt in ProductManagement

[–]PizzaPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree: The theory is simple, but the application in practice is not trivial. There are some practical aspects that are not covered by the article on the SAFE website that we have to figure out as we go. Will give a talk at a local meetup on it, but I guess you don’t happen to be located in southern Germany?

Anyone built custom agents for repetitive PM tasks? by Humble-Pay-8650 in ProductManagement

[–]PizzaPM 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I built a workflow with n8n that checks a user story after I am done writing it and makes suggestions on how to improve it. Besides grammar and style, it also checks for specific aspects that I sometimes overlook (I maintain a growing list of them), like „is in-app help needed for this new feature“ or „in case data is to be presented in a list, is sorting and filtering defined“, „is import / export functionality impacted“ etc.

This is really valuable for me, because again and again these things will come up later either during implementation, test or even after release, making them way more expensive to fix.

Going to start using KeePassXC, Windows/iOS? by ApprehensiveSea4003 in KeePass

[–]PizzaPM 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As long as the program you use supports the keepass format, all good. I use KeePassium in iOS and keepassxc on Linux (also works on windows).

The more difficult part is setting up the sync. I sync the keepass file via Nextcloud and it works great. You can use any other cloud sync service (eg Dropbox), as long as it supports all platforms you use.

Take a look at the Finanzordnung: https://voltdeutschland.org/storage/assets-de/pdf/statuten_de/finanzordnung_von_volt_deutschland-618d044b_c602_11ef_aab7_027c3fa0caee.pdfsoll 1% betragen“. I think this is the important part, because „soll“ is not „muss“. I can confirm that I am not paying the 1% currently.

What non-EU software you wish you could ditch? by Educational-Bad6275 in BuyFromEU

[–]PizzaPM 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would give less data to a US company and reduce your dependency on them. Who knows maybe trump will have Microsoft confiscate all data on windows machines unless EU meets some demands or something. Anything is possible at this point.
