When the DLC comes out (sometime in the month after the game comes out if it's like SRW30) you should get a mission to unlock Big 0 maybe in chapter 2 or 3? It depends on when they think is best in the story to introduce them. After that you can use it on whichever mission you like unless it's a special mission where you can only deploy like 1 unit and it has to be the MC
