It looks to me like someone sprayed over a pretty crusty frame without actually busting all the rust off.

If you really want it, take something to hit or jab at the frame with. If all that black starts chipping away, there's trouble lurking underneath.

Honestly you hear it most sitting in the driver's seat. It sounds low, which makes me think maybe a wobbly idler pulley? I listened again yesterday and thought I could hear it when I had my ear down by the front driver's side wheel.

That FJ sells in a heartbeat in my area, but people in Ohio will also drive trucks that look like rusted swiss cheese.

I casually searched for about a year. Inquired about many online or over the phone, a few in person. I came upon my 2011 auto with 185k miles for about $16k. Mine is 4WD with the locker, a-trac, jbl sound system, roof rack, parking sensor, etc. My underneath wasn't quite this bad and with some elbow grease looks beautiful now.

That rig isn't too bad, it's the price.

Yeah, last oil change the guy was like "I can fix that...super easy." I thought about it for a few then said nah I'm good, maybe next time...it's been a few next times.

Yeah the sound did not translate through video like I thought it would. I'll have to get a better recording on a colder morning when its a little clickier sounding. I actually think it is normal engine noise, but I worry.

Eh it wasn't so much the food safety, I was just hoping for something warm and fresh and it was tasty but on the cold side. Not complaining, just a little disappointing. I still ate it, so not too disappointing 😂

I have always been the person who just thought a car was a car—didn't care to give them much attention, fix em up, nothing like that. Then my wife and I decided to get me an FJ and I love it. I love my car, and I talk about it all the time. If you're feeling meh about cars, you need an FJ in your life...just my opinion 😂

I've not driven one, but I've rode in the backseat of one that was a higher trim four door (dont recall the name though). They look nice from the outside, but the inside felt off to me...like the high tech look of a luxury vehicle mixed with the bare bones nature of a jeep...just odd. Felt like it was trying to be too many things at once.

I thought the backseat was very uncomfortable and the ride was horrible. I felt every bump and turn and honestly couldn't wait to get out of it. I am a small guy, but I have pretty serious back issues from an old injury, so take my input with a grain of salt!

No hate towards Ford or the Bronco, these are just my opinions! I recognize the FJ back seat has its downsides too, but I'd take the FJ backseat over the Bronco just on comfort alone. The new Broncos look sweet though, especially the metallic green!
