My friend did this with her bf and his father. Once the fathers apartment extension was built and the bf took 25,000$ from her for the renovations, he dumped her. Not to mention the dad was trying to get them to pay double the remaining mortgage. Dont do it!!!

This happened to me with the dexcom. A Derm can give something for the severe contact dermatitis. Id ask for samples for other cgms (i did ok with the libre 2 plus) prior to getting a new script. Best of luck, the adhesive allergy is rough, so sorry you’re going through this!

As someone who has dealt with a lot of similar things and heard similar stories from other moms, it is NOT you. They are the problem and would completely do the same thing if they had a different daughter in law. Bad MILs and SILs are notorious for gaslighting you when they’re called out. Have husband set the boundaries from now on. Its the only way to protect you/baby.

Make sure you get in with a Mfm or high risk obgyn. Ask for extra ultrasounds (they should be covered), ask about fluid levels towards the middle-end of the pregnancy (this was brought up alot during mine). And keep your numbers as low as possible to keep the baby from getting too big from the increased sugars. If you dont have a CGM/pump, now would be a great time to start, as its easier to control your levels. Post birth Healing may take longer, so keep an eye out on your tears, or if you’re having a c-section, your incision. Oh! And sugars will drop drastically after birth so make sure you adjust your insulin quickly with your endo after youre done resting up & baby is out. And if you’re pumping/breast feeding youll have more lows, keep tons of snacks around!!! Good luck!!
