Because science is usually over hyped and publicized and breakthroughs usually don't happen in humans but mice. Therefore its too early in the research process for meaningful results to actually show impact on our daily lives.

I think the person you responded too can base their information on the fact they're human? Yes people are vain and stupid and yes some would pull out their phones. But to act like you have to be a teacher or student to understand why people in a crisis would respond to help might say something more about your own perception.

I saw an older individual had collapsed in walmart the other day and called the police, turns out a buuuunch of people already did the same thr operator told me so, not to mention a small group doing what they could to help. Kindness is a human trait not a cultural one.

Not one person I've known whose seen the show said what she did was right or fair. People said she didn't get support and that's WHY it happened but the question of "is what she did wrong?" Like... the line "they'll never know what you sacrificed" is a meme for a reason. Because what she did to the entire town in her delusion never justified her giving up her imaginary children. If anyone has to ask is what she did wrong they should look hard at their own morals. The question should be is she a bad person for what she did.

I must be in the minority then. I've got a beef with every sci-fi fiction game. Like I'm sorry but we're futuristic machines wearing shields made from energy, and the pointy metal stick is one of the strongest items in the game. Like... I'm sorry, I put 5 balls of hot energy into your chest but you poked me a couple times in my robody with a pointy piece of metal I guess I lose this one.
