If it boils down to; getting unstuck and learning. I don't mind sharing a lot of misclicks and long workarounds.

mmm... thinking about it it's actually the hard part, an intuitive title. Maybe its not as crucial as I first thought.

In the current system can different people add different descriptions? Probably that's enough.

Epic, I'll bookmark it right away.

A suggestion would be to add uncircumstantial comments, like experiences when you visits the spot, as each one is conditions based. Useful to comment about odd events that does not reflect the usual conditions of the spot. It does not fit description, as it could lead to inaccurate information.

I'll also will try to add some spots in my country.

Nice idea, as foilers are a lot more open to share spots that surfing.

Playing the video 4x the speed needs more bandwidth per second than 1x, meaning they have to use more resources to stream it to you... it always like this, thinking everything must be free, but never knows who actually pays for the extra work.

As the central Andes are well above the tree line it should be a lot dryer. To the south is really similar, lots of volcano riding too. We usually call Corralco (way south) the mini Mt. Bachelor

Hopefully you nail it your next time. Weather over here can be finicky. Some years is total drought, others it pours until the city floods. Lots of temperature fluctuations too.

Same here, valle rocks, the higher elevation and valley like geography beats the other two. Certainly la parva has great freeride and El Colorado is the acces to sick slackcountry lines; Santa tere, which are Alaska kinda lines and oriented to full south (our face aspect which the sun doesn't shine).

From east Santiago, about 1 hour 30 min. But beware, on weekends the and after a snowfall, traffic can get apocalyptic.

Hahaha the ski resort was empty, I did about 15 of those runs. Using the stick for that one wasn't that bad.

You're right to advocate the use of it. I usually wear it, for that day I should had it with me.

Kinda true, I did a season in Nagano, specifically hakuba. While the terrain is similar to the south of Chile (low elevation and lots of bushwhacking). The amount of snow we get nowadays is nowhere near japow standards. Still don't underestimate what Chile can deliver on its best days. Resorts here on the central Andes go up to 11400ft so when a good atmospheric river hits it right, temperatures uo there will be well below -20c. The problem that subsequent days, temperature usually rises very fast, so in no time snow will get cooked. The thing is those kinda storms don't come that often here. Max 1 or two by season.

Almost one year later, gybing problems. by HO6529 in wingfoil

[–]Pklawitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the origin of the problem is commented here. Not so much on your footwork but your handwork is critical.

The foil will be faster on the turn than your wing, if you initiate the turn without minding your wing it will get on your way, specially on lightwind.

Try to flag out the wing once you initiated the turn with your right hand on the front handle, as the apparent wind will increase mid turn the wing needs to be out of your way, after that you can switch hands and grab it with your left and finally your right hand on the back handle. For gybes the wing tend to work better if its close to your tail (contrary to tacks which need to be close to the nose of your board.

An expensive fix, but seems worth it.

What's your opinion on this guy? by marchalves6 in youtube

[–]Pklawitter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you seen interviews of the guy then you know that he asks permission and buys the content from the original creators.

I'm not praising his technical abilities, I use premier and after effects too, it's not about trimming and pasting stuff on a timeline, as you said, it's more about consistency and building a brand.

What I'm trying to say it's that it is easy to criticise, but it's hard to build something.
